I think sony has made more new IP's than any other publisher this gen. Not a fact but i remember a couple years ago they were at the top of a list in a magazine

The 360 is the main reason i'm not buying the one at the moment. Dont wanna jump in bed with a company they supports is console with this type of content over content that I and people like me like.
Why not? Final fantasy, kingdom hearts (main series), tekken, Metal gear solid are all now Multiplat now. Now to mention after the new ownership came in alot of the old epic employees left. Right now i'd say its about 60-40 of them in favor gears becoming multiplat (just let me get a PS4 HD collection before the next one comes out).

They advertised the hell oout of the surface tablet as well and it didnt work out well. Marketing helps but its not always the end all be all.
They probably wont. They dont have that year headstart and cheaper hardware this time around. I expect sony to be at least even in those to countries and MS probably wont make up much ground in other countries.
I'm hoping this game is as fun as their other games.

You're taking things outta context. GT4 to GT5 was the longest between releases in the series. GT6 is only takint 2 years after GT5. Normally there is only 1-3 years between a GT release. Now that the PS4 is easier to devlop for there wont be such a long wait.
I play more games than Jrpg's, its just that they are my favorite. 360 had a couple but nothing that made want to run out and buy system. Plus coupled with the game support they had the last 4 years, and wanting to focus heavily on media and kinect next gen, i dont feel as though i'm missing much.
Tech usually moves faster than implementation though.
I enjoy J-rpg's more than any other genre. Which is why I go with Sony and nintendo consoles. I'm in the USA BTW

Last time the met with japanese developers and got exclusive games they almost killed japanese development single handidly. Any wonder why namco isnt bothering giving them tales anymore?
Sony doing consoles and Nintendo doing handhelds under the same umbrella....... Sign me up for that. But after the vita, I need my cross play.
