I think you are reading that wrong. The wii-u sold 1.5 mil in 12 months. sony sold 1 mil in 1 day. They might have passed the wii-u this week if they shipped enough stock for black friday.

The wii-u will be a nice secondary console when it dips to 100-150 dollars or so then I can pick up games on the cheap. I can't justify buying one right now.

I think you misinterpreted. We wanted a games console that did other things. Not a multimedia box that played games. Some might argue that it's semantics but when you look at the ps3 lineup vs the 360 lineup since 2010 you see what we mean.
