I won't be getting any of these games, I can't be bothered to invest thought into them when I have ME2 and I have to prepare mentally for Battlefield and GowIII coming next month.

That is one of the best articles I've read from that site. Short, and to the point. I feel the exact same way the writer does.
I guess some divergence should be expected because of personal taste, but in general terms, Mass Effect 2 offers a superior gaming experience than the one offered by Uncharted 2. If you deny this, I urge you to play both, and play them thoroughly.

I'm currently on my second playthrough (on 360) but I'd buy it for the ps3 just to be able to play without the humming of my 360 + the fear that it might choke...

Scanning is one of my favourite things to do in the game, lol. Feels very satisfying, to me, when I see a "rich" planet littered with flags and the scanner says "DEPLETED".
