Nope....wait I had to edit this. I forgot this is now coming to consoles owners so my revised answer is yes. Cause console owners are sheep. They don't know what they argue or fight for with the rarest of exceptions.

I don't know what the author saw, but I didn't see a fight. It came off as desperate and at that price, MS is going to have lots of consoles to build a fort with.
Dropping half a grand is no small thing and I didn't see one game that made me scream "I MUST HAVE IT"
Anthem, Metro, basically anything not Ori, Forza or Gears or Halo will be multiplatform. I think I'll wait and see how it does and revisit this in about 2 years.
LOL, a 500 dolla...
Too high. I'll wait a few years. This way we'll see what truly runs at 60fps and native 4k and what's hiccuping all over the place. I also need to give it time to come up with games that I want to play. Right now PS4 has all the exclusives I want and 90% of the games mentioned on Xbox Conference will be multiplatform.
I already did my charity this year by supporting the Switch's forward thinking design.
I hope to God they keep BotW in Nintendo land and let the other devs do their own work. If all games start to resemble this "thing" then I suppose it's just as a good time as ever to unboard and get into something else.
played this last night. It was very fun and great game mechanics. For a Diablo clone, it's one of the best I've played. Enough changes to make it its own.
define success. Cause my Switch is literally in the closet. Waiting for something to happen. Meanwhile, my WiiU is right in front of my TV set with my other consoles. If you mean success in terms of Nintendo die-hards buying it blind. Then that's not really a success is it? I mean we would have bought it regardless. If this was Nintendo master plan to lure gamers they've lost over the years back to their camp. Then it's a massive fail.
I haven't been keeping up with this game. I knew it came out and it was a Banjo spiritual successor made by most of the original Rare team. But I didn't catch that the game was a massive fail. Is this the case? I was prepared to buy it shortly.
I normally hate CGI trailers. But this one was done tastefully and gives a good understanding of what to expect. I'll be buying it day one. I just have to see a little gameplay now.
Game is great. Scratches my FPS itch and I can get on with my life. Everything I need and want in this title right here. Now that its free I hope it gets the attention it deserves.
I wanted to like this game, I thought it might be a little rough but the whole color thing was intriguing. I thought it would something closer to the Blob or those Mickey games we as you use your color powers to alter the environment and make cool thing happen. This is NOT what this game is.
So much for that whole - "no one cares or wants BC on newer systems"" bullcrap argument.
Just say what you mean. "we don't want to spend resources allowing you to play games for free, but we'll happily charge you for it"
Battleborn is a good game and it keeps getting better.
It has infinitely more replay value than Overwatch any day of the week.
The problem with BAttleborn is not Battleborn its the company behind it. Gearbox has isolated its fans on anything NOT Borderlands. On its own merit, it holds up just fine.
Not buying it. Switch was a waste of money.
You got my money. Let's do this.

Thanks for reply.

Yeah, that's just it...my NEW console should be the home of retro anything and if they wish to do this it all better be free.

Just give these guys back their stuff. WTF Bro!
Thought we established that already. He's full of poopoo.
Cautiously optimistic.

Keep chopping away. At least you haven't abandoned the game. Sad that that would be an indicator of good support post-purchase.
