Why did they even bother putting the show in the game? Was that the draw for the actors?
At least its optional.
There is nothing different here other than presentation. Bioware has been doing this since forever, the only difference here is they give you a condensed version of future events.
Its presentation, that's all.
Also tie-ins to live shows is not something id be lauding on my games. There is no way singular decision made by every customer is going to be reflected in the show. It will be an aggregate score.

This is pretty dope. I love it.
Xbox needs all the titles and all the revenue a good game can muster. It's not a deal breaker for me. I just want a reason to USE my Xbox. Besides the occasional indie game or updating my BC games, there really isn't a reason to boot it up.
I almost didn't get Quantum Break because of its TV ties, but I think I read those have been nerfed. So my pre-order happened.
Yup, fires a b!tchaikovsky in Primal. I love that game and Far Cry in general.
Manhunt, yes!
Bully was cool but don't need another version of it.
Can't argue with B-man :)
Scribble N is a hot mess. They need to rethink that series and make it into something that makes sense.
As it stands, it's hard to like especially with games that offer similar action and execute better. Max and his marker come to mind.
You CAN play The Division SP. Who says you cant?
I liked Dark Void very much.
Its a surprise to be sure, but Ill take what I can get with this BC program of Xbox.
Yes Xbox please!
Step one is complete. Next is lowering the price of digital content in general. Thats coming. Oh and transfer of digital content from one user to another.
Another nail in Gamestop's coffin.
I don't know either of these entities.
But this is America and suing is how we get things done around here.
IF this company has leverage, they'll get paid and a new standard of reviewing games will emerge.
Its the way of things.
Let the chips fall where they need to.
IGN didn't get their checks in the mail.
Im not getting a lot of good vibes from this article. I think they are deflecting the question or they simply REALLY dont know.
Dont know about you, but Im not paying good money to experience jump scares in another dimension. Or play some gimmicky game for 2 hours. I want, what I always have had in a new way. Meaning something like Fallout, or The Witcher 3 brought to me in this new way that makes it an absolute most have.
I want to be sold in this new perspective. Not given the feeling of what its like to mountain climb. I dont care for it in real life, I dont care for it in gaming.
This was ultimatel...
yes. Consumers will dictate whether a a piece of tech is needed. A piece of hardware around your head is going to be a ridiculously hard sell.
It's nice that Sony has 250 devs working. God knows they could use the work. Let's see how many of these are shovelware and how many of these are actually playable full fledged 100+ hour games.
Otherwise, they Tech demos.
It's well deserved. Game is off the charts!
Price tag is good not great for a piece of technology unproven. However, it cannot be denied that Sony came way under its competitors. Let's wait and see what all this is about. I still have the Eye of Judgement collecting dust.
Great game, could be use a little less dialog between the characters, but thats my personal taste.
