I get a few things from this article. Most importantly this seems to be an experiment. Seems to be a controlled test and if you think about it they seem to be helping themselves as well as their marketplace vendors.
If you are a prime member then you get the full benefits. Lower price, price guarantees, 2 day shipping, and now exclusive products...IF you want it from them. If not then the market place will suffice.

Big mistake. I'm still playing 360 since the best games are located there. My XBONE barely gets touched and when I do, I'm dissapointed. Bye 360 you'll be missed. I think I better buy a few more just to keep myself in good gaming form.

This will be a niche game, same as Battleborn although they are not similar games whatsoever.

Oh by the way Lichdom is a piece of garbage of the highest caliber for the PS4 (haven't played Xbox version)

Count me out if this happens. I just bought 3 more PS4's, now they pull this bullsh*t?! The only way id even consider this is if Sony had a buy back program and I got 350 dollars for the PS4's I already bought. Otherwise, forget it.

In my experince, this gen has been about releasing "betas" AS demos, furthermore almost never do the problems of these "betas" get resolved in gold priduction. It's absolutely fair for the hobbyist to assume that what their playing is near final build.
Why would they think otherwise when historically this has been the case.

I like Spiders. They are a solid developer. They don't make triple A games, but they make good B games.
One day I hope that changes. I've never been disappointed with their games and I look forward to playing this. Obviously they have much to say about Mars. :)
I didn't even know Mass Effect Andromeda was pushed back to 2017, until I read this article.
