I agree with you, but I think you are wrong on the Number 1 cause of PC piracy.
It is not because we 'do not want to pay for games' its because most games today are not worth the full price. I simply will NOT ever pay full price for a game that only lasts 5 hours, and has no multiplayer component to extend the gameplay beyond the 100 hour mark.
These games get pirated all day long. Nobody is paying $50 to beat the game in a night and be done with it...
