In this interview they touch on that The February Reveal was specific on the Tech behind Ps4. E3 was specific to gaming. I Hope Sony has lots more on other features / multitasking between games / networks features as well.
While I love the PS4 thus far and in no way would buy the Xbox One over it. Microsoft has shown much more how the Xbox One is more future Proofed than the PS4. Their UI is super snappy and multitask...
I dont see how this is practical for the new Xbox One because you no longer need the disc in the console to play a game.
I WISH the PS4 had that feature :/ But i understand that's part of the 24 hour check-in and we dont want that.

Does anyone find it problematic that MANY MANY Cable boxes do not have an HDMI out port?
And further many people do not have a cable box in the room that they want their xbox in. For example in my room i have cable straight from the wall. i get HD channels OTA through internal TV tuner and regular channels from the wall outlet. so my xbox does nothing for TV then?

This is NOT going to happen. Next gen consoles will be released in late november. I doubt 3rd parties would sell their games at the same time for both next gen and current gen consoles.
It would decrease their total potential sales.
By spreading releases out between consoles i think it would increase total sales as people will repeat purchase.
agreed.. but didnt sony kinda just do this with their own store? they recently released their SDK unfortunately i think it costs $100+ to publish.
