Apparently they are speaking to thier game developers about how they can assign the power kinect use so that game developers are able to take advantage of said power and this should hopefully mean 1080p and 60FPS games on the xbox one

Exactly, gamers who want kinect will pay the extra and does who dont like the idea of kinect now have the option to get the console. i dont understand how having more options is a bad thing. now that the xbox one is now the same price as the ps4 get ready for more attention to resolution and FPS

lol an absolute joke come on now, kinect was not doing them any favours and allowing the competition to trounce them in sales they are in the business to make money why wouldn't they do away with kinect if it will get gamers to buy their console. some seem to forget that its a business to make money rather than seat idle on the backlogs of xbox so as not to appear as a joke to a minority
whatever they listened to so far it gets people excited and willing to go out to buy their product
wasnt that what they said with titanfall releasing and how that will give the xbox one control over this race. people need to calm down and are not quick to call victory as we dont know what sony could do to counter this. all i know is i am going to be one happy multi console owner

Damn Microsoft is in it to win it, i cant help but commend them regardless of the reason they chose to make all these changes. this e3 everyone is going to be on their A game.
and some xbox fans were quick to jump down and complain about how sony psplus is a glorified rental service. i don't have a problem with this so far the titles as compelling as what the competition offers.

Sony has had to endure through alot of trialling times and they came out stronger and better for it, the same is happening to MS now and hopefully they do the same. people act like every every gamer just woke up one day and decided F MS when it was the other way with all that drm and TV stuff

I rarely by DLC, micro transaction or pay for season pass. I have to thoroughly enjoy a game or a game that i play regularly with friends and want to still be in that world months from initial purchase. something about the gaming industry which really worries me is a great idea comes on a way to help the gamer and the developer but some always find a way to exploit it

that's exactly what they said about ghost. remember the reveal when they were talking about the audio, fish A.I. and the power available to them on next gen.
but yeah i am excited as well but eagerly waiting the media blow out before i make any sort of decisions to purchase

I agree with that statement i believe that what they are really doing in R&D and at the moment with the xbox one being beta for the cloud computing and when next gen arrives the infrastructure and hardware would have come along way to start realizing the benefits of said tech... ofcourse this is my opinion not fact before some of you get high blood pressure :)
