Hey, it's progressive at least. We can't objectify JUST the ladies. :P
If they manage to keep the gap between the two consoles wide enough, PS4 will reach something called a 'self-sustained momentum'. Everyone's going to want one because their friends have it.
We were...before people realized Kinect is not as revolutionary as they thought. Saying "Xbox play company name game name" takes a lot longer than physical controls.
This is the first step towards a Kinectless SKU. The great experiment has failed.
GTA C sold 700k over there. Japanese are definitely coming around towards western tastes.
Also Segas Yakuza series have jumped ship to the console already.
Heavy hitters for Japan like Nippon ichi software, Falcom and tales studio are pledged support. Couple that with square Enix FF14,FF15 and KH3 and the Japanese have plenty to be excited about.
Straight into my veins.
*shrug* Hypocrisy is the ointment sore losers use to ease the pain, my friend.
It's not about surviving...you really think a multi-billion corp like Microsoft wants a device to 'just survive' they wanted it to DOMINATE.
Xbox One was/is the culmination of a generational plan set forth by the original Xbox, (almost) perfected by Xbox 360 and now passed unto the Xbone.
After 13 years, it SHOULD have been the number one console in the US. Being firmly in second place in it's home turf is not what I call a success.
Maybe it's the tinfoil hatter in my talking but I think it's partly because they don't want to piss off Microsoft so they intentionally use the misleading 3.9m figure when it's realistically 3.2
Warframe : it devours hundreds of hours
Rime wasn't 'Dudebro' enough for Xbox. They know it, we know it. It's still cute when we hear Phil saying "We're pro-consumer" on Twitter to every question.
The continued support this has been getting along with Dragons Crown is nothing short of salute-worthy
They should but they can't. It'd piss off the early adopters and is an admission that Kinect failed.
It's actually commented about a different poster. I know it makes you feel all tingly that the Mods of NeoGaf think you even exist on the radar, but you do not.
I just wanted to show you that you're not the first person to make this cookie-cutter fairy tale argument and you're not a special snowflake. You're just one of many who, when Microsoft has lost grounds in the US, began championing for competition all of a sudden and this reply works for all them.
Not really...
Here is a post from one of the mods of NeoGaf which I feel eloquently puts this stupid concept to rest:
----------
No, it's not. I don't understand where this is coming from.
Competitive platforms are good for the consumer. Sales parity is completely irrelevant to the consumer. In fact, if one platform lags behind the other, it is because the consumer has decided that one platform is not actually good for them. That is ho...
First would be more likely, not so the second choice.
My guts say Demon's Souls 2, Crash Bandicoot or Wipeout
I know, right?!?
How did they come up with 3.6 million?
And Destiny or so the little birds tell me.
Wow and we didn't even need a DF analysis.
Kojima set a precedence and now Devs aren't afraid to be honest.
@above : *shrug* I didn't hear you complain when the 360 did it.
