Because you can go from Bone to Boner...i.e. from then on you can have a field day. Xboned, like getting screwed both financially and literally. Not a good stigma when you want a positive word of mouth for your piece of hardware.

@majie: Pretty much. Occupying shelf space without being sold is a waste of money. Now try to imagine that with the 900k unsold XB1s in the US.
Heck, it got so bad for the Wii U that retailers shipped them back for Nintendo. Unsold consoles sitting on shelves IS a cause for concern.

Pretty much. 1.25 million copies is a VERY pessimistic estimate. Using Tomb Raider and Resident Evil as benchmarks, I'd say over 2 million on the Xbox One would be when they start seeing a return on their investment.

Console warriors like Misterxmedia (whom I'm assuming is related to you) and other people from reddit who keep insisting the Xbone is strong as (if not stronger) than the PS4. These type of news sends them into spin mode and can be quite hilarious to watch unfold.
