when games consoles run on the tag line of 'HD GAMING' i believe they should offer all aspects of HD, that includes movie playback, the ps3 has it with blu-ray. yes i know the 360 has an 'add on' but i dont want an extra drive and cables, i want one nice sleek box that sits next to my nice new HDTV.
ps3 is also starting to catch up on the games front, and personally i believe it has a much better lineup than the 360 had this far into its life.

this is one reason i dislike M$'s approach to its consumers, like the original xbox, as soon as a new console is release they completely drop support for their older produces.
