The problem being that no one gave a flip about characters in LP2. It was good co-op, so they should have explored what they did right, and not chuck everything good about the last game out the window because it was flawed.
Rocksteady only made the first two games. The third sounds like a cash-in so far.
I expected this to fail because it suffered the same identity crisis that Resistance did. Every bloomin' game is totally different than the last, even after they were onto something brilliant with Lost Planet 2.
