I dunno about a flop, but obviously people who don't like FPS games will likely skip it. I think they have time to put in a 3rd person option if they feel like they want everyone to experience it. The fact that they didn't think of this is kind of interesting to me. Devs often times develop a game while thinking of the people playing it, but sometimes their own vision can kind of take over, which I think is what happened here. Now faced with this clear fact that a lot of players will ...
Sounds interesting, but I feel like we played a game like this in Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I got extremely bored after a few hours of that game because the first person perspective didn't feel as immersive as third person could've felt. But that's just my own opinion. Some people prefer FPS, some prefer 3rd Person, which the latter would be my preference. Will I say I won't give it a try, heck no! I definitely plan on checking it out. I love CDPRJKTRED. Their games are always ...
I think Microsoft should stop publishing games. I don't own an Xbox because it's trash. I didn't own an Xbox game until State of Decay 2 on PC, and even the Xbox App on PC is trash. It's easily the worst experience I've ever had with online gaming. And even after Undead Labs patched it, it's still having issues that aren't caused on Undead Labs' end. Doubt I'll ever buy another game that can only be accessed through the Xbox App, or however they try to stre...
2000hrs??? Sweet Jesus, you must've done a lot of the Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris type stuff. I barely got 300hrs out of it. I also didn't play The Taken King, Bungie and Activision had taken enough of my money by that point. But there's plenty of games that are time sinks. I put in 1700+ hours into The Division. Warframe is a time sink, and probably the new Warhammer will require some dedication. It's just probably more difficult to find games you like that are time sinks. ...
Should cover all years, like wtf? lol. Greed is all I see. Bungie and Activision are almost on my "Do Not Buy" list.
LMAO... exactly why I didn't buy Destiny 2. I would've spent nearly $160 on Destiny had I bought The Taken King. While people who didn't have the base game at all, or the DLC's, could've paid $60 and had everything. I played it smart this time around, decided to wait. Looks like it's gonna pay off. Although, with Spiderman coming out, and The Division 2 coming early next year, I'm not so sure I'll even buy Destiny 2 at all. Real shame, Destiny 1 was such a good...
Welp, think I'll pass. I'm sure R* won't miss my money tho. Companies are getting greedy and pulling weird tactics man. Just sell the game. I miss the old days.
Have they announced PC yet? I purchased GTA V twice because the PC version came out so much later. Don't think I'll be getting it on console. So hopefully they'll announce a PC version soon.
This kind of sounds like The Division's Dark Zone, which honestly is not all that great. It mixes PVE with PVP and the turnout wasn't well received. This article doesn't specifically say PVE aspects will be included, but it mentions "howls of mutated creatures" but that could just be other players... It sounds interesting tho, I always love to experience something a bit different than the every day PVP.
Wow, I've been watching people stream since about 8am EDT, and really haven't seen people experience a ton of bugs honestly. There's the weird stealth/crouching one where players get stuck in stealth mode, but dodging or jumping can usually get you out of it. I've seen a couple of people get frozen in place, which also can be alleviated by dodging or jumping. Cars do flicker if you get stuck on something, like a road rail, but not a big deal. The only game breaking bug I'v...
Didn't think this game was finished. I think a lot of studios preview a small portion of their game and see what people say about it, then they go back to the board and add some stuff. This one just seemed even premature for a preview IMHO. Being a pirate isn't just about being on a boat, in the ocean. They go on land, sell goods, trade, drink, find some ladies, and often have raiding parties. I would like to see the full pirate experience be added to the game, then I would probably p...
This would've been better as a pure Turn Based RPG, rather than a tactical turn based RPG. The art style looks amazing though.
Keep going, almost there
It wasn't a yo-yo lol. It's called a thunder ball. Just FYI
Every six years, 2019 sounds more accurate, although there was a seven year period between PS3 and PS4.
In my opinion, however, I think Sony should wait until 2020. I'm personally not ready for a new console just yet. My PS4 is running strong, with a good bit of exclusives about to drop over the next two years. On the other hand, if it did drop in 2019, I probably still won't upgrade until 2020, 2021. I only bought two console exclusive games for my PS4 since it rel...
Or that the release date is being further delayed. One or the other, definitely.
My heart weeps. I miss the Dead Space series so much!
I mean, Destiny 1 recycled story missions as strikes. It was lame then, still lame now. Which is why I haven't bought, nor will I buy this game.
Exactly. No one wants to pay more on top of what they paid for the freakin game. It's just like how DLC became a thing. One company started doing it, then another saw the profits and so on and so on.
I'm sure plenty of people will dislike me for saying this, but honestly, I gotta say, I thought Microsoft's press conference was much better than Sony's this year. And I'm being 100% honest. I don't own an Xbox One, I do own a PS4, and I just wasn't blown away by anything, other than maybe The Last of Us 2. I thought Ghost of Tsushima was interesting, and Death Stranding, but Microsoft showed so much. A lot of those titles will be cross platform for Microsoft. But afte...
