what a shame it's only 12 vs 12 on consoles. lot's of people are going to be bummed out when they get the console version. This is supposed to be huge war going on, yet on console.. you're going to get the whole team at one time doing different stuff. 8 people in tanks and jets... leaving 4 ground troops?
PC is the way to go with this game.
Imagine how long this MANDATORY install is going to be. I'm also loving seeing how all of a sudden having to switch between 2 disc isn't a big deal now. All the jokes flying about the 360 and it's 10 disc for the game.... yet nobody saying one word about multiple disc switching now for a PS3 game.
No, no joke. PS3 only owners are so used to movies since that was what came out first for their console. You know, MGS4 as well, and the Spiderman 3 blu ray that came with PS3's early on. Remember that? Remember when a game console used to come out with a free movie instead of a game when released?

I know for sure at least 1 exclusive PS3 owners wish they had that only 360 has... and that's the best racer ever made Forza 3, and the soon to be king, fresh new Champion of racing sims... Forza 4.
Don't even try to compare to GT 5.. the second best racing sim currently out there on consoles. Forza SMASHED GT5 in metacritic scores and is hands down better.
PS3 can have their movies like Heavy Rain and MGS4... 360 owners can own the best Racing sim e...
It's an Xbox Live arcade and PSN game. Not even close to comparable to a full version of COD or BF. It's going to be more comparable to that Breach arcade game than anything else.
But COD Black Ops isn't broken. Maybe on the PS3, but why would you play it on PSN? I've never seen crazy glitches and bugs while playing Black Ops and they hot fix the game all the time.
Counter Strike was doomed ever since it was announced as an Xbox Live arcade game... make it a real game. Not an arcade game.
Since Xbox Live took over being better than PSN.

I thought it was a great and awesome button to have. Can't tell you how many cool moves I've done to escape death using the prone dive.

Bigpappy, it's because Americans don't care as much about the PS3 this time around. Last gen we did with the PS2 and treated the original Xbox the way we do the PS3 this gen. It's just reversed. It was very, VERY smart of MS to come out with the 360 early. Despite RRoD... it still doesn't matter.
That, and it sucks gaming on the free PSN. Live>PSN all day, all night.

I live in the US, and it's the most important place in the World for these video games to sale. So again, I and many other Xbox fans will enjoy the NPD numbers, in an NPD related article/thread.

Uncharted 3 looks just like Uncharted 2.. people aren't complaining. KZ 3 looks just like KZ 2... Madden 12 looks like Madden 11. Assassins Creed number whatever now looks just like the last one.. Mass Effect 3 looks like 2.. etc...

I hear footsteps all the time while I play Black Ops. Not sure what you're talking about there. I use Ninja Pro. Footsteps are a big deal to hear in the COD games, and you can hear them no problem in Black Ops.
Maybe it helps I play on my Onkyo TX-NR609, and not through my TV. Not sure what you're using.
Looks nothing like the PC version. I see what's taking them so long to see console versions of this game.
