Piracy will never be at absolute zero. It's an unrealistic expectation to have. The best you can do is keep the numbers to a minimum. How do you do that? Provide a quality product; it's pretty simple. Need I say more?
90% of PC gamers are pirates? Really? Sounds a little exaggerated don't you think? Sure piracy is definitely an issue on all platforms, even consoles (Maybe not these new consoles, yet...) but it sounds like a pitiful excuse to not put in the effort because some people are assholes.
8GB of VRAM doesn't mean much if you don't have the horsepower to back it up. The performance delta between a 780 and a 980 is negligible at best. The 980 clearly wins but not by a whole bunch. You will still need some performance boost if you want decent framerates
Sounds like this is another "parity" thing. Kind of how Ubisoft said that the PS4 version of Far Cry 4 looks like the PC version of Ultra settings which is a joke. Not knocking the PS4 when I say that either. I should expect my $1500 machine to perform much better than a $400 console; it's common sense. But that isn't what's happening and it's really irritating. It's a good thing I'm not an AC fan because I'm not going to support this BS.
What irritates me is the double standard. You are OK with killing people in GTA, but you have a problem with killing people in this game? How is one deemed 'more acceptable' than the other? Murdering innocents is murdering innocents? What context can you give me that makes one acceptable and the other unacceptable?
So if anyone ends up liking the game it must be because they are awful people who are OK with murdering people? Why is that exactly?
There is no moral ambiguity here because there is nothing immoral being done in this game or any video game. In the sense that killing innocent people is immoral, I wholeheartedly agree with that, but you aren't killing people in a game. It's a piece of software not a person; there is a big difference.
I actually think t...
Yeah that is kind of silly
If some of the most powerful hardware in desktop gaming cannot keep the game running at 1080p at a decent frame-rate then I highly doubt the PS4 would be able to in spite of that. I consider a decent frame-rate to be at least 60FPS though
I hope the next Mass Effect game has more of the RPG elements like the first game. The second and third games felt more like shooters with Mass Effect flavored in.
Something that really bothered me going from the first game to the second is you were only allowed to use certain ammo types for different classes. Which makes absolutely no sense. :/ Just why??? You were not allowed to customize your gear other than your weapons; it all just felt really dumbed down to me. The one ...
Fun fact. Red Dead Redemption ran at sub 720p resolutions and it didn't matter because the game was awesome
What if the devs mean having RAM + VRAM >= 6GB for ultra? That makes more sense I guess. The people who have played it have said the assets do not look as though they require 6GB VRAM
2GB of Vram isn't isn't enough for 4k silly :P 1080p sure, 4k no way
@AndrewLB
It will be tough, but it can be done...lol
Yes! Now let's hope it'll be a good game. The last great DBZ game was BT3. I know that'll upset some folks but that's how I feel.
The combat in the newer games just doesn't feel as good as previous games; it feels kind of mechanical in these newer games. Know what I mean? If you wanna make a good DBZ game you should focus on the combat. The pretty graphics should be more of an after-thought.
I think the Binding of Isaac should be on this list as well.
BURN!!!
I cannot believe you all have forgotten about Samus...shame on you...
The only reason people should buy this is if they want to buy it. Nothing else matters.
I hope CDPR is still working on Cyberpunk 2077. I'd say that takes priority over this but that's not for me to decide. Iorveth!!! Bloede Dh'oine! lol
Very interesting point. Strange to think about really, but I wouldn't mind if Bioware wanted to make it so as the universe is infinite
