WHAT? Story and talking to villagers are one in the same, man! You go around the world and see the perspectives of various townsfolk and see how everything that has happened and is happening affects people!

I honestly don't believe SONY would ever make gamers pay to play online with other gamers. It's not like them at all.

If this was some kind of scheme, then wouldn't they make this standard instead of just an Amazon deal? Personally, I don't know a single person who has ever bought a video game off of Amazon. I know plenty of people do, but still.
Oh and Gamestop will still be selling it at $60, so if you sell your copy to them, I doubt they'd go by Amazon's pricing...

Don't compare Gears with what you play now. Compare it with what you played BEFORE it came out. Gears impressed the Hell out of me when I first saw it.
