OH good grief. Here we go. IF both versions of the game are running at 1080p/60fps that means that the PS4 version got some major gutting to help the xbone get there and achieve parity. I hope that isn't a sign of things to come. Devs should push BOTH systems to the max and let the chips fall where they may. It's not right to gimp the owners of a superior platform in favor of those that own a lesser one. Push BOTH systems to the limits and let the owners of both get the max experience...
I agree. The kinect should have been an option not a requirement. With the news that ms had participated in project prism and then saying the kinect would always be on and would always be listening and watching???? Who wants that? Kids that don't know any better and talk their parents into buying this thing, that's who.

He also told me that they didin't have and PS4's in stock and wouldn't until April. He also told me that they had tons of xbones in stock. The PS4 is selling out as soon as retailers get stock and the xbone isn't really moving much. charging 500.00 for a machine that can't run games at the same resolution...

Well it's immedtiately obvious what is happening here. Ubi is dumbing down the game because they are trying to achieve parity for the xbone. This is a big budget game and they want to make as much money as possbile so they are dumbing down the effects, bloom, physics, etc, to make the PS4 and xbone games are close as possible. They don't want the media pointing out that the xbone release is inferior to the PS4 release, like we're seeing over and over and over on multiconsole games...
got to give this one to the xbone. Well at least until the next PS4 update comes out LOL. But, for now, this one goes to the xbone. Hey one victory over the PS4 is better than zero, right?
Probably using the extra time to bring lesser console releases as close as then can to the PS4 release in fidelity, resolution, and fps. Lets hope they dont neuter the PS4 release if they are unable to achieve parity for lesser machines.
wow. They dump a load of information about the rendering yada yada yada yada, that the average gamer wouldn't have a clue about to cover their butts. I don't like it one bit and I'm a huge Sony fanboy but I don't like being lied to nor do I like getting the run around and double talk. The multiplayer is NOT native 1080p. It's upscaled. Period. Why don't they just admit that they lied and get it overwith?
wow. this game is looking AMAZING!!!! It's so evident what can be accomplished on the PS4 with the devs don't have to worry about parity for the lesser consoles on the market. When PS4 is pushed to the limits you see games like this. Not worrying about if they can shoehorn it into a lesser console really frees the devs to cut loose the power offered to them on the PS4 with the most powerful GPU ever offered in a console and it's GDDR5 the fastest RAM ever offered in a console.
Well i don't know that the xbone needs saving. It's behind the PS4 and falling further behind as we speak but that by no means indicates that it's going the way of the Wii-U. I don't feel that it'll ever catch the PS4 but the xbone will be fine with or without titan fall.
I agree. Logic dictates that this game would have been better on PS4. The Additional power would have done wonders for making this look more like a next gen game rather than a mechanized COD. With that said, I'm sure that it's going to be great on ms platforms but it really could have reached it's full potential on PS4.
Hopefully you will see a price drop to about 299.99 w/o the kinect. That would put the price/power ratio into a more realistic realm and enable it to better compete with the PS4.
started the download for this game lastnight. I LOVED this game on PS3. Looks to be amazing on PS4. so many zombies and so little time LOL.

Yep. Fireseed is right. Tools are important. But when adding physics, shaders, sub surface scattering, etc....you become reliant on cpu and gpu more. However, the PS4 has the extra power to enable direct compute on the GPU. This added power will aid the cpu to a great extent. I think the xbone may also be able to do this but to a much lesser extent.
What about The Division? Anyone know if that is for next gen only?
They should have kept this a REAL exclusive to xbone.
