In sos the teams meet up on the hunt. theres no negotiating and everyone just learns what tricks the vets do and repeat. thus everyone learning that flash bombs are rathalos' weakness etc.
They are missing the chat inbetween hunts, the quest roulette, the grinding of the same monster with the same team where adding friends and guild cards was intuitive to do. I don't know how they made ps4 worse to chat in than 3ds but my god.

no don't use it as a benchmark. it was an empty af game compared to the other series. Look at generations. give us our goddamn glamours so we can customise how we look and still be stylish (you put this feature in the game with only one thnig - the samurai so you fucking know about this) And add an actual physical difference in your tempered varients.
