as an Australian, l'm so disappointed in this game. You can't play it due to server distance making your ping so high you can't interrupt or keep up dots as the rest of the world.
So bs that the jap servers arn't even that much better.
been subbed for a couple years, got more then that in my storage. just long term if l want to revisit, l gotta pay like 70 for a year
yeah l'm subbed but what if a couple years go by? l know half these games are free, but l've bought discounted games also, being withheld these games unless l pay 70 a year just seems a bit much in the long term
there are straw rolls if you want to restore some sanity/skip night...but makes you hungry. If you are roaming, why not just make a torch and check out your map so you know whats around you.
how to survive winter? get bee boxes. get a ice box, kill a lvl 3 spider nest and get the spider eggs. place near a walrus camp. in winter they just kil leachother over and over. free monster meat to feed to a birdcage for eggs! Eggs and meat make a awesome bacon and eggs meal. honey and eggs make a honey glazed ham in the crock pot.
Also jerky and honey last 65 and 90 days respectively in the icebox! Jerky also restores 15 sanity, which is a life saver.

my only concern is that you can only play while subbed.
i stay away from anything new from IGN nowadays. All they do is make podcasts, video previews on stuff irreverent to games and basically that whole site has become a youtube account. Not a article in sight.
The scene involved a vampire feeding on a woman, along with the implied attack on her child and husband. Kat felt that the attack on the woman felt like an allusion to rape, and the scene was done in bad taste.
