My 5870 can do that but I don't need that kind of setup right now. It is amazing how our tech has advanced so much over the years.
Treyarch needs to stop releasing games with a crapload of bugs. Even IW had a more stable game when MW2 came out. They are fixing it but they still should have had this stuff worked out BEFORE it released.
IW is only a shadow of its former self. Either they will merge with another studio or they will hire new people to replace whoever left. I'm not sure if they can pull it off but it might work out in the end.
Try kicking them down on Vet setting. Took me like 20 minutes to do it. Bastards just keep coming and coming. Treyarch likes making hard games.

With all the stuff they added to this game, it looks like they want people to keep it for a long time. With all the extra content they said they have planned, zombie maps and a hidden mini game, it looks like it will be a keeper. I like it when developers go out of their way to try to get me to keep a game.
It's a quick port as I expected. I'm not really surprised at this at all. It took them two years to make it and they just built it on the 360 and ported to PS3 and PC. Bunch of bull if you ask me but whatever. Activision already has our money so we can scream at them all we want and we will go ignored.
Who knows at this point. It does look better than Modern Warfare 2 from the screenshots I seen. Whatever they did, they didn't bother optimizing it for the PC mostly from thinking someone would buy a fast video card and CPU just to play it. LOL, it's like they want to make the system requirements like Crysis so people can benchmark with it. I'm just messing but it would be funny.
I doubt it is being held back by a video card that did not hit the market yet. They are most likely polishing the game so it runs good. I don't care for optimized Nvidia games because it's a bunch of bull in my eyes. Bearly have any games optimized for ATI now AMD cards. I paid good money for my card and it runs my games great but when I see that bull Nvidia logo, I get pissed because its going to run better on their hardware because the code was optimized out of the ass just for them...

I'm happy he let it slip about Metal Gear and Final Fantasy. Those two are going to be must buys for me. I figured this was the road they were taking once I heard remakes of ICO and PoP were in the making. This is OK for me because I get to play great classic games redone in HD with trophies and surround sound.
I didn't think it was a bad game. Just, it was not worth 60 dollars. I paid 20 for mine and I thought I got enough content to feel like it was 20 dollars well spent. Some people just down right bash it and feel like it's the worst game ever.
Rock Band 3 demo works with my Guitar Hero Guitar so yes it works with the older controllers. The other questions.....I do not have answers for you...

I'm getting sick and tired of fanboys making blogs and posting them on N4G bashing other fanboys and acting like their console/service of choice is the best. I play on the PSN more than LIVE and I do not get any lag that he claims. Also, the PSN has gotten a lot better since it first launched and is only getting better. I refuse to renew my LIVE membership because I get lag free game play on PSN and do not need to be chatting with friends in a party chat 24/7.

I'm looking forward to the improved voice chat since some of my friends only like talking on the 360 when they talk to me. ESPN is not really my thing but it's nice to have.
