This article is nothing but PR bull. Everyone has their own opinion on what games are better.
I love GT5 over Forza 3, I love Killzone 3 over Halo Reach, and I have a ton of RPG's that wipe the floor with Fable 2 and 3 that are only on Playstation. This is my opinion and even if I get ignored and blocked by 100 people or everyone on this site, I'm not going to change it ever.
My PC can run almost any game out on max settings but I still like playing console games. Consoles are made for people that don't want to bother with playing games on a PC.
I'm upgrading tho when the new cores come out. I'm just waiting for the benchmarks to come out for which processor I'm going to buy. I'm also getting the 7000 series AMD cards so it's going to cost a lot but it will be worth it.
I don't even care if it comes out for the 360, I just want it because my Dreamcast is not going to last forever.
Who cares! Too many Zelda's to look forward too.

Sorry for the caps but it pisses me off that Nintendo keeps on coming out with these......these.......mere shadow of their former self's games and expects it to sell by name alone. I'll get the Wii U but if they don't deliver the games then it's getting traded in.
I hear ya on that one. Stores pull this crap everyday. Always lying and trying to get you to buy something that you don't need or want. Pretty much forcing you to buy whatever they throw at you.

I feel the same way as that article about the direction of video games is going. PS3 and 360 might be the last consoles I collect games for because I'm getting the feeling that the next gen consoles are going to have a lot more fees going on than this gen.

Funny how I voiced my hatred towards Wii's friends code in the past and got disagreed and argued with. Now Nintendo is dumping it for gamertags. Looks like I called it because I even said they should do that instead.

Who knows, I just want them to use a Blu-Ray drive for their next console. If it's download only then I'm going to get pissed because my friends will buy it without even thinking and bitch at me to get it. I like using discs to play games because it lets me know its mine and its not going to be taken away if my account somehow gets banned. The same will go for Sony's new console.
Did you just not read what I wrote? You could play the core game on one disc and if you want the extra quests and items then you would have to get a hard drive. They did this with Forza 3. You get the main game on one disc and if you want the extra cars then you would have to get a hard drive for that.
I'm getting the PS3 version anyway and it was just a option for them to do. Don't act stupid.
I have a XBOX 360 S 250. It runs cooler and when I put a disc in, it does not sound like a jet engine. If this one breaks on me tho, I'm done with it. I want to play Gears 3, Forza 4, and the new Halo so I really do want the console to last. Atleast now I know I have nothing to worry about when the update comes around.
Well when the game gets released, it's going to be on MS's new format so it's going to have a Gig more room to work with. Also, they can just have it so you can install the second disc that contains side missions and extra items and just keep the main quest on one disc. I'm still getting it on my PS3 because I use that as my main RPG console but I see no real reason for them to cut content because it's "Too Big".

I think these fanboys need to get a life. SONY owns Naughty Dog and whatever they make, meaning Uncharted belongs to them. Same as MS owns Halo. So we will never see those games on another console......PERIOD! Exclusives help people decide what console they want, or for people like me, what games I'm going to buy when they hit the shelves.

I want the PSN to come back on as much as anyone else. But not if it's not secure enough. I sank a lot of money into my PS3 and a good amount into my 360. I play both but I prefer my PS3 controller to most games (FPS's like COD play better with the 360 controller) but the PS3 controller feels better for everything else for me.

Well.....I'm still happy that PSN is coming back online. Free month of PSN+ is good because I was thinking about getting it.
They could do cross game chat but a server would have to take care of most the work. Cross game chat is built into the 360 consoles OS, but Sony can just make it so the PS3 connects to a server and lets it do all the work for chatting. It won't take up much resources and they could charge for it if it came down to it. I'm getting the feeling that were not going to get it until next gen at the very least tho.
People are just trying to cash in on this. I bet they didn't really lose anything or much at all. If I find charges on my card, all I do is call them and say "I didn't buy those things" and I get the money returned with a new card sent to my home. It has happened before and if it happens again then it will be dealt with. People need to stop overreacting.
I'll just use it as a single player console if it came down to it. I use to play my PS1, PS2, N64, Saturn, Dreamcast, NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbo Grafx 16 (I loved Bonk on this console!), and Wii (Don't care too much for Wii's online) with no online use at all. It's not the end of the world.
I don't see the reason to buy this for PS3 as Sony is coming out with a wireless Headset that does 7.1 and has a mic for 100 in a few months. Maybe 360 users will want it but that is a lot of money for a wireless headset.
