On EA games? Count on that.
Or for any moment did you believe that 'we are getting rid of online passes because we care for you' obvious lie?
We need healthy practices.
Fix'd it.
MS leaving games would be amazing. Don't worry, another company would rise.
Also, before this gen, never really existed competition and the games were amazing on their time, much more creative than what we see now.
Inverted system here. My mistake.
Xbone, not ps4.
I read the policies, but am not sure if I fixed the reports correctly, specially the translation one since I've seen multiple approved news with Google Translator as source.
Anyway, the original link is the source now.
Nice source. he he he
Ouch indeed.
I know games' prices are not autoconverted to 60 USD all around the world (having myself checked that on Germany and Austerland the same 80 USD prices applied for day one games), but I had hope that this gen the price would come right.
Also, there is more interesting info on this matter on this thread:

Yes, I correct my statement.
"Sony saved the gaming industry from being swallowed by mobile #$%&@%!"
Agreed.
Immature.
Sony just saved the gaming industry.
I am also daily called cheater and hate mailed online for playing much better than everyone I know. Even some new clan mates got mad at me.
So, MS, these are the ones who will mark my reputation down because In better than them?
Horrible and lazy idea. You have dvr to report.
Bye, Micro$oft.
Kotaku = garbage.
@vishmarx
I disagreed and have preordered TLOU (and actually bought Ascension mostly for the demo).
When they said "the best multiplayer ever conceived", I really expected something different than an Uncharted mod or another Counter Strike-esque MP designed.
Okay, it will be slow paced, you won't have tons of bullets, BUT, as previews are saying, the differences between TLOU MP and the other thousands of shooters around stop right there....
It is quite nice.
The story and dialogues are very good, intelligent, creative...
The gameplay is like a linear Sleeping Dogs, but with customizable combos like God Hand, subtracting crazy and adding useful to the attack effects.
For those who put the story and setting high on priorities, it is probably a nice game.
Also I think IGN has reviewed this game too harshly, much like God Hand itself. Expect to see this game on a l...
Bitter PC monoplatform fanboys are their target with these comments. N4G and other sites rejoice on the hits.
We will see a lot of trash talk from this company this generation.
1. The idea was nice, the game even on beta didn't seem that bad. This score on IGN's average is really low.
2. Thanks, a whole lotta thanks, IGN, for putting F2P one more step away from consoles. This model is horrible!
Quick! Throw us some tin foil hats before we are fooled by IGN's evil corruption!
Repeated.

Online passes were gone because something worse will replace it. I thought xbone made it pretty clear.
@InTheLab
Even iGN, who received tons of money to call BF4 contender to Game of the Year (lol), criticized yesterday their urge to become CoD, with corridor and frantic, brainless CQC action.
They know their image is shattered, that's all. They will not become consumer-friendly from night-to-day. They know really well that MARKETING is much more important and profitable than QUALITY and are doing the same about their reputation: They continue with bad policies and...
