The problem is: people try to be hip, not even realizing they're joining the dumb hate bandwagon.
"Look, I'm cool. I'm gonna be as everyone and say cod is lame. Amidoingitrite?"
Most supernerds have a hard time trying to think by themselves.
Bubble up.
Not having been done means it is -> innovative/creative <-, not that it isn't shallow or basic.
But no problem, I know I may be misinformed about the game.
On PC? Even having put multiple chars at level 60, I have to agree this is the worst Diablo game, as having weak loot systems is a major flaw on any game under the lootporn genre.
On consoles? Direct controls, no auction house (better loot therefore) and local coop hopefully brings the game to another level.
If it was released today, I'd not buy it, but I can't say I'll never get it, as it's a game that seems perfect for party playing with ca...
Good to hear, but I am still worried that the game mechanics may be too basic/shallow.
The presentation high level, though, allows no discussion.
If you spend money on Candy Crush, you'll pretty much have thrown it in the garbage five minutes later, when that lifes succumb against the unfair design.
Yes, the game can be beaten, but it is way better with infinite lives cheat, which makes it a really great and smart puzzle game.
While I love both SR and GTA, I think you're right.
But Saints Row is growing, getting its own identity, which began clearly as a GTA ripoff, evolving to something completely nonsense and fun. Quite the opposite of GTA IV.
With GTA V being GTA again and SR4 moving towards the complete BS area, I think we shouldn't even compare the games more than Sleeping against Watch Dogs.
As an online forever alone, I can say... Challenge accepted!
Now I want this game to clean these dungeons all by myself.
More like:
BAAANNED!
hehehe
They are obviously doing it.
WHEN they will release the game is a completely different matter. A matter of WHEN, not IF.
Recoup losses?
As said above, the game sold REALLY well and it's not even mentioned the mountains of dirty money made through the RMAH, which was the fatality on the expected and standard franchise quality.
It may be by far the worst Diablo (we're seen a lot of dumbed destroyed franchises lately), but to say that it lead to losses is pure denial.
Looks fun, but coming from CoD creators, it will probably have the same design aspects, both good and bad, we are used to see this gen.
Also... damn exclusive. Damn it!
(Considering this is the spiritual successor to COD...)
Q: What is impressive?
A: How polished the game is and how well it plays at consoles.
No one managed to do it apart from Infinity Ward, who actually is doing it again, but now under Respawn trademark.
Hate as much as you want, as much as you can (because it is the cool thing to do when you are an internet uber nerd contradictory hipster wannabe, right?)*, but, despite its flaws a...
Won't even consider buying AC 3.1.
They fooled you again.
lol
Considering the simulation aspect of the game, anything is possible.
Copying and pasting the reveal schemes.
FFS, we all already know that August 2014 and August 2015 they'll be revealing the next ones. They don't change even the reveal windows! Lol
And this is why Saints Row is more worthy of the GTA spiritual legacy than GTA itself.
At least when we are talking about the last 'GTA' game released.
Nice, now leave the NASA PCs aside and show us the 25 FPS gameplay and how nice it will play when the controls don't respond to our commands.
Thanks!
Following the THQ pattern...
