Other than the bugs that shipped with Skyrim(that really pissed me and the other console owners off, PS3 ones to be specific), it was/is a fantastic game.
The soundtrack was just amazing, especially the music in Whiterun.
It's not like E3 is the place to make formal console announcements.

Well let us hope that David Cage can pull off a coherent story driven game this time around. Heavy Rain was a mess of plot holes and unanswered questions. I sure hope he hired a writer/writers for this game and not penned it himself..

Well they gave dead space 3 a 9.0, so it seems you're correct.
Although he needs to touch up those roots.
I haven't played 1 or 2, but I am excited to hopefully try this if they finally release it on a Sony console.
Dead Space 2 is not in anyway shape or form superior to Dead Space 1, unless your favourite game list include Gears of War or only action games in general.
This is Game Informer's kind of game. They give Ni No Kuni a 7/10, and a generic action gamer(because that is what Dead Space is now)an almost perfect score.

You're confusing Sony with Nintendo, more specifically the Wii U.
It's main draw certainly isn't graphics for the consoles, at least based on what I am playing in the beta. I know it's a beta, but damn it's an ugly game. Low quality textures, jaggies everywhere, blur... hurts the eyes. I hope it's an early build

Apparently everyone is very easily pleased, even by a turd update like this. Maybe next's month update will finally give me a reason to subscribe again.

My point is that they didn't do a very good job at it. I love a good story, but I would prefer they do a coherent job of it. I have nothing against a story based game, but make sure you at least check your story for obvious holes and questions left unanswered. They need better writers.

I played and finished Heavy Rain, but I find the game extremely over rated. It had great atmosphere, but the writing was atrocious. So many holes in the story, terrible controls, stiff animations.
Why the does the killer have internal dialog about trying to find the killer? It makes no sense at all. Developers really need to start hiring actual writers for games, I expect better.
I would prefer a minimalist story, aka Demon's Souls to a overly melodrama...
