There are different degrees of limited though. This will be a very limited limited edition, hence the name of the article.
Soon Google will own the world.
Again, the article didn't state that Halo 3 was the first game to have a public beta, it stated that prior to Halo 3, no public beta had received anywhere near as much media coverage.
Not quite.
Resistance was their first proper online venture, as Ratchet only tested the waters. Tools of Destruction didn't even include it, so the last 3 titles haven't included online. While the titles were hugely successful offline, not many people really played the online modes. So I'm not quite sure why you're saying they were hugely successful online titles.
Prior to Resistance, Konami had been doing bigger games online. Pro Evo (Winning Eleven) was exclusive t...
No, the article states that Halo 3's beta was the first to have a large amount of hype revolving around it and since then, betas for games have had much more media attention. It didn't claim that Halo 3 was the first beta to ever happen, nor that Sony copied anyone.
Konami have many more years experience dealing with online than Insomniac and they've sold more games than Insomniac could ever hope to, yet they still didn't prepare properly and had problems. Companies should simply...
I think Wada already said earlier this year that they're going to be producing more "branded" games in the future.
Is this link dead for anyone else?
I am guessing you don't remember Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children then, when Square Enix basically released everything about the product before it was released.
Dissidia isn't really the type of game that can be "spoilt". It's going to be more like Tekken than Final Fantasy XII. Having a story of any real note probably isn't going to happen.
p.s. DJ, if they're such perfectionists, how come they let Dirge of Cerberus be released to the world?
Haha, nice one. :)
Resistance: Fall of Man is a must have game for the Playstation 3. You should definitely check it out.
If the Minigun has an insane rate of fire, it could become crucial for defending objectives/holding position, as seen in Day of Defeat (HL Mod).
Yea, hopefully more information will be released soon.
Yea, people probably aren't going to be allowed to film it, etc.
The question is raised now because Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core (on the PSP) was released just over a month ago. The article analyses its sales incomparison to other sequels. How does that have anything to do with the XBox 360?
The article talks about dwindling sales ratios between Japan and America. It doesn't mention FFXIII, FFvsXIII, the XBox 360 or the PS3. Not everything is about those 4 topics.
It's not like this is new, they did the same thing with Pro Evo 08 too.
I think that you're slightly confused. Given that they talk about Final Fantasy for near on 3 hours and have done for 6 episodes, I would hardly say they are "fake fans".
I think the term you're perhaps looking for is that they are not "sad losers" who feel to the need to make sure their knowledge of the entire Final Fantasy universe is second to none so that their virtual ego is satisfied.
Instead they're more modern fans, who are providing a mo...
The last section is purely talking about Japan only, America and Europe aren't included. Things are improving, but not by much. Last week according to Famitsu 38,000 were sold.
Also, regarding your comment about FFVII selling more than FFX and FFXII because it's been out longer than both. FFX outsold FFIX and FFVIII and that's been out for less time.
VGCharts says it has sold 1.79m since the 11th of November. That's approximately 14.5 months. 1.79/14.5 = 123,000.
Whether you want to believe VGChartz or not is up to you.
This news was released mainstream over a month ago. Old story.
Check the date of the source, it says 11th of August.
