Looks like this could be another interesting title for the Vita.
It's kind of crazy how much the story has connected with gamers throughout the years.
I'm sure they will be fine. I think most consoles have a difficult beginning, but not having Dead Island: Riptide won't change much.

Yea, it's difficult to understand why they felt the need to make the story so convoluted. Also, it's rather annoying that they consider the handheld games "spin-offs", yet their story is pretty integral if you want to know what the heck is going on.
I'm guessing that Resident Evil: Revelations is going to fulfill the 2013 Resident Evil quota. I just hope there aren't any more!
You say that, but the whole NGP reveal followed by the Vita reveal at E3... wasn't so great. If they'd have just done a reveal at E3, the hype would have been better.
Probably best to start off with the original if you're going to start anywhere.

Not the best of games, but Sherlock hasn't ever really transitioned all that well.
