Kotaku is a crappy site with no credibility. They can't even use the word Generic accurately. These are the same type of people who would not call Halo or Call of Duty generic, yet the shooting in MAG is only one part of the game (which looks like any other shooter like COD4 or Halo). 256 player online with a chain of command with each rank in the command having their own skills, objectives, abilities -- generic? Lol, I think not.

These people are retarded. The Bad: Sony's motion controller. What's bad about a controller that does more than a Wii ever could and is demonstrated live working in front of you? And yet Natal is good even though what they showed live was just EyeToy material and the rest was something that hasn't been created yet? Funny.
Microsoft's conference was very nice, but Sony's was still a bit better.
Wow! A racing game on 2 discs? Now that's ridiculous. Can you imagine switching discs when you want to play a certain mode or switching discs when you want to play a particular car? You literally need ONE disc for games like racing, fighting, sports, etc. Blu-ray is finally shining and I'm sure GT5 will be packed to the brim with content.
The Alan Wake footage looks amazing to the eye just like Killzone 2 looks better than Crysis to the eye. They're using a lot of tricks (such as darkness and enemies without true forms), but hardware wise it can't get much better. If you know what to look out for, you would see Alan Wake isn't technically amazing at all and that they probably dumbed it down to make it work on the 360 which is a shame for the PC version. The graphics aren't what's great about Alan Wake at all, it's the gameplay...
This controller is absolutely amazing. It is beyond the Wii motion plus which I don't think has the technology to do real 1 to 1 fighting. If you look at Red Steel 2 the sword swinging itself isn't 1 to 1 but Sony demonstrated it live on stage.
We are going to have amazing hardcore games once Sony's talented developers get their hands on this.
Wow, they're just adding feature after feature huh? This is going to be the most value for your money game EVER. And I bet it can only fit on Blu-ray. Can you imagine having to switch discs for something like a racing game or a fighting game or anything like that which requires one disc?

Doesn't seem right at all. Sony had the games and more exclusive games, announcement after announcement, the reveals, the technology live demonstrated, clean and pretty presnetation, etc.
Microsoft did very good but they had awkward moments like the Beatles, multiplats, they showed technology on video that isn't real yet (Milo), etc.
Nintendo had a lot of nice stuff but nothing amazing except Metroid.

Looks like a great game. I'm really sad that they dumbed down the graphics for 360 though. I was hoping to get a visually amazing game on the PC.
It's a shame that the sword swinging isn't 1 to 1. It's pre-scripted. Nice that they have the sword handling 1 to 1 but what's the point if you can't attack 1 to 1?
They don't even want the hardcore. They only added one or two hardcore games for this entire year. That's just ridiculous. They don't care about us. I'm abandoning Nintendo. Screw them.

Awesome move by Sony. Now if our ISPs could increase internet speeds that would make this a great transition into the media-free age.
A lot of 360 games say 1080p on the box and none of them are ever natively 1080p. I hope it's native 1080p they're talking about but I doubt it.
