I get that people may not like it but beyond baffled that people think it's generic.
Yes.
A decent adaptation of the first season but very clearly one of about a million Demon Slayer games to come.
Damn, so they started making it when BR was gigantic and now BR is just kind of...ordinary? Seeing games like Warzone etc pass you by over the years while you keep plugging away at a game that you maybe know isn't going to be beloved by the franchise's fans must really suck.
Yeah, in what universe is a series with three games, a fourth on the way that's sold millions and is published by EA a "cult favorite"? Next you'll be telling me The Witcher 3 is a plucky and underrated indie.
I also hate how annoyed people get at IGN reviews. Every time their scores are one or two points to the left or right of the average, people lose their absolute minds. Baffling.
"in Developer"
They're all arcade now. Not one football game out there is close to how football actually is.
"Mediocracy" is the completely wrong word and also you can't discount a game's GOTY credentials when you haven't even played it.
There is an ocean of difference between seeing gameplay and actually playing it.
Path of Neo ruled
funny
Yes, it does. Anything that helps you farm XP faster, earn a tonne of currency, revive allies, reduce shop prices, give you free levels and on and on and on breaks the balancing completely. You're pressing fast-forward!
Infuriating way of thinking.
Others will buy them, even if you don't.
Then it will become more and more commonplace until it's in every game and game design itself is twisted to fit around this kind of DLC, to the point where every single release is piecemeal, the price you pay on day one just acting as your entry price.
When did we stop pushing back against this stuff? Sad.
Just because something is the way it is, it doesn't mean it can't be better.
This is an ad.
looks dope
I don't honestly think the game itself will be bad as the trailer, which...sheesh. What went wrong there? Same kind of tonally weird wank that sank Battlefield V.
GRRM literally rolled up, scribbled "tits" on a napkin, and rolled away again to stare at his typewriter
Article doesn't say something different. Says driving games tend to be head-to-head but not Art of Rally, a rally game.
"some good ideas and a few drawbacks" sums up Frogwares overall really, they try their best with what they've got.
