Main thing for me on witcher is none of the characters look like they should. And also I always imaged it mostly as a monster of the week type of thing, you know what the witcher does for a profession, not game of thrones. Now granted the books and game get into political stuff, but still it seems like the whole focus this time. Plus Netflix's other adaptation suck besides maybe castlevania.
Good, tired off all the BS with China. they affect our movies and other things because we want their money. And they have horrible working conditions over there. People don't care though as long as it's cheap, let's keep those workers in them sweat shops with horrible conditions. And my god the amount of trump derangement syndrome going on here is ridiculous. I knew gamers were mostly liberal but damn, get out of your bubbles.
Yep exactly, plus great music, great movies, and not so great fashion, but I loved the 80's; glad I grew up during it.
So much this! Also let's get some super Nintendo games on there as well. It's kind of sad that their best console for old games is the wii u still.
@cmv38 Yea you keep telling yourself that. But sony and other companies are playing the part of a parent and are censoring more than what you are talking about. The fact that you have upvotes shows how biased some fans can be. If you want we can list examples of what sony has censored.
Well we must be looking at different things. You don't really need to do to much to port to another console I don't know why you think they'd have to redevelop the game, unless their code is so unique that it can't be ported to another console. Doesn't really matter at this point anyway though since they aren't doing it at all.
Sweet. I loved this game on gamecube.
@Jarrod Yep I agree and loved the dreamcast. I've heard sega is still made at sony for screwing over the dreamcast. But I actually did say that for censorship you need to go to switch or like you said pc to avoid it nowadays. And I've always been an xbox fan, but recently they starting to lose me.
Definitely agree on that one Jarrod but also Xbox is doing the same thing as well. If we don't want censorship then we need to go Nintendo. That's why I got all three systems, I get a lot of jrpgs for switch now as they aren't censored there.
@lexreborn And I'm guessing you've looked into this then? Because it just sounds like you are making up stuff what RD, development and production is needed for porting to another console?? The game is made, they just need to change out button mapping and UI's for it. Now I agree the switch might be a little different from ps4 and xbox but multiple indie developers have stated how easy it is to port to the switch. So I say again, they are being lazy and don't want to waste...
Was gonna say the same that at least they are getting some use lol. All joking aside I did like using the Kinect for voice commands. I usually say that Microsoft is good at making tech that is useful, just not useful for gaming. Like the Kinect and HoloLens, they have good applications outside of gaming, but within gaming, not so much.
Lol was going to say the same thing. It's sitting on my entertainment stand below the xbox and next to the switch.
Yea was going to say the same thing, unless I've played the game before. I usually read main story and only read the side quests if, like you said, they are interesting which they generally aren't unfortunately.
Nah that's not true at all. Me and my buddy are working on a game and looked into this, there isn't much difference in porting to other consoles. The main issue is the UI for button presses and things like that, like button mapping, but it's really not that hard and doesn't take too many resources if the game is already translated. He is just making excuses to be lazy. The only other cost I could see is the actual production of the game CD/cart.
I remember there was a pc game made by an independent called Zelda maker but Nintendo stopped him and he had to rename it, but it definitely looked really cool.
Well I definitely know that Spider-Man is not a 1 to 1 recreation of new York. Me and my buddy used a map program of new York and tried to find buildings and streets and some of them were not there. Still a great looking game though.
Still cannot believe that they want $40 just for you to upgrade to the final battle version. That's just too much for what's an expansion pack.
Yea cuz that's what got me smoking, seeing it in movies and games; oh wait no it wasn't. Most smokers do not start that way if anything it's their friends or family that usually get them into it.
So what? That was their decision to start smoking just because he didn't like it doesn't mean they didn't. I smoked for about 18 years and then quit because I wanted to, not from pressure or anyone else. I get tired of everyone having to protect other people like they are kids and don't know what they are doing.
That would be pretty cool, although I still cannot get into the characters they look nothing like how they should whether going off of the games or the books. I'm just worried with Netflix's track record on these live action adaptations, like deathnote and bleach, they were both horrible.
