They should absolutely drop the Gold fee, but they won't. Their fan base keeps paying the door tax, so they'll keep charging. They might even raise it again.
Buy our $30,000 4k TV and we'll throw in a free PS4. It's the least we can do.
Nintendo made another limbo console. Stuck between gens.
I would have given it the same score before I completed it. They basically didn't have an ending, just random credits where they decided to stop making content, and the end-game raid bosses are a joke. An even bigger joke is the loot you have to save up for with drops you get from killing them.
5/10.
Nevermind what I said. This DLC isn't very good. It starts off pretty good, but then jumps right off a cliff at the end. Pretty annoyed with Gearbox at the moment.
The DLC that shall not be named. I seriously doubt they'll be making anything as horrible as that. From what I've played so far in the Captain Scarlett DLC, it's good.
Current gen consoles shouldn't cost more than $200.
Fear of finding more casual TPS moments behind every corner. Truly frightening.
EA is the worst gaming company on the planet.
Now they defend ads, too. Microsoft's running powerful pimp game.
Huge fan of Metal Gear, but I could never get into Splinter Cell. Tried to play several of the games, but none of them did anything for me.
It's not in danger of stagnating, it is stagnating. More often than not, the only original gaming experiences being created right now are indie games.
A 2012 console should be able to render anything in native 1080p.
The Mechromancer wasn't cut content, nor was it finished when the game launched, and is still currently bugged. The game came with 4 characters, same as Borderlands. If it came with 3, you might have a valid point.
That's the problem. Gamers don't stand up for anything. You bring something like this up, and usually what you get in return is "it's only $15, get a job cheap ass, I want more Mass Effect". There's no critical thinking that goes into any of this. It's all primate functionality. Black and white. I WANT! TAKE MONEY!
There's no way it's going to get better, because gamers keep paying more as it gets worse.
Leviathan was paid DLC. Also with traces of cut content. They had admitted to cutting the Reaper's origin information from the game in Geoff Keighley's thing about ME3, which is what Leviathan provided.
Fact is that this whole thing about Omega was revealed before the game even launched because it appeared in the leaked script. I think people are well within their right to be angry about the content not only being cut and sold as DLC, but for a higher price to boot.
$15 for cut content. Don't buy this trash. Watch it on YouTube if you're curious, but don't support this scam from EAware.
Congrats, wieners.
I've abandoned the series, and I had gone all obsessive completionist on every main entry from 6 on the SNES to 12 on PS2.
Everything is always insanely overpriced in the EAware store.
