Well if you're too close when someone comes out then your lose shields do to an emp type thing. but yea it's really how it's used. I'd only use it in team play or capture the flag because you can camp the flag in invincible mode.
In Game Informer they announced two more; a hologram which makes a copy of you that runs straight from where you use it. The idea is getting rid of campers and a decoy for stickies.

but what was the point of that? If anything it just makes me wonder how bad those games are since they hardly showed any gameplay and just had some lame flash animations. I'm mostly sad that they felt the need to throw in a Mario 64 and Megaman X reference.
Well if you want to get really specific about it they never called it a "slim." Just the 360S. It's fairly obvious but they never made the leap.
well I think Theonik does have a point. I've pirated some dvds that I own or plan to own. It's just easier sometimes if a disc gets scratched or as a sampler. And I really hate those FBI's warning and trailers that get loaded onto a disc, I didn't pay for that and I shouldn't have to.
I also often don't trust trailers or demos because they show the best of what's to offer but not the game or movie as a whole. They only show you a portion to get you...

How do you think this story came up? It's not like Fox just thought, "Well this grieving mother talking about a video game would be a positive gaming story." Fox didn't have to run this story, they're just running a story they think will get attention.

Uhh if you want to get technical everyone is selfish. Even if you do a kind deed with no real gain for yourself, you still did that initial act for yourself. Whether it was for an amount of self appreciation, public recognition, or whatever. Basically we do things because we want to.
1) I think the idea of commenting on a story is to talk about something relevant to the topic. Rather than bashing the site for an earlier article.
2) I'm kind of on the fence about that. First run I think should be about taking in the game and experiencing all it has to offer without worrying about a time frame. Then if I go back at some point I'll try for a speed run or something like that.
It's sad when I read your comment in comparison to all the rest and thought, "What is he talking about," it wasn't until I looked again at the article that I realized you were actually responding to the article rather than trolling a kotaku article.
I don't think the story is so much about the sign language but about the amount of detail it would have been able to pick up. to have been so innovative it could have read a simple "hand sign" in a game to signify an event.

uhh sure this is a big game but biggest on ps3 or even of the year isn't very likely. god of war 3, mass effect 2, starcraft 2, halo reach, little big planet 2. I typically don't think of racing games as game of the year and I don't think that this will stack too well compared to some of the others. I mean it took 11 years for starcraft 2, I don't think that will go unnoticed.
I'm more afraid of the sun in that game.
