sign of the times, so many people just want to rage.
Final fantasy vii remake gameplay looks god awful. It’s too bad since the graphics and cut scenes look great :(. It’s all sizzle and no steak just like final fantasy XV.
I would suggest waiting until the 4790k isn’t good enough, we still have some time.
I bet it’s only a handful of really loud backers, and it’s really not a valid reason to get a refund.
you aren’t making any sense or any kind of point at all. When people are swearing and boycotting because the epic store doesn’t yet have a forum it’s pretty obvious what’s going on.
@RememberThe357
why the fallacy arguments? We arent talking "oh hey I wish it was on steam because i like steam better", we are talking "It's been confirmed. F you Deep Silver, seriously, go screw yourselves."
Ill even address your strawman, epic is working on customer reviews and all that other stuff valve built over the years AND they are giving publishers a bigger slice. Both stores have exclusives (most third party), so I dont even get the argumen...
@SegaGamer tha'ts even more tribal, get over yourself. People who act tribal just double down by calling people names when challenged. Ive seen some of your posts about the epic store, they make no sense at all. People cant even see how they are being tribal while they are doing it, so I expect you to go even more insane.
@Tototot nothing is stopping you from using steams features on any game, even epic store games.
Why be tribal about game stores lol.
why is someone talking about hardware available only in late 2020? By then pc hardware will be quite different as well, and as already mentioned a console is mostly a single purpose device while a pc is something most people buy anyway. Heck non gamers are dropping 1k + on laptops all the time.
Some people weren’t sure.
I dont know @darthv72, it depends on the size of your screen and how far you are from it. On a 55" screen its hard to tell much difference above 1440p unless you get real close. However, most tvs dont accept anything in between 1080p and 2160p, so native 4k is nice when we can hit it since scaling from 1440p (or even somethign around that) to 4k doesnt always work out that well (red dead 2 on ps4 pro is kind of blurry).
@Zeke68 I dont mean to pick on you, but that is the most incorrect post Ive seen in a while. As the resolution goes down the cpu take a bigger hit as you become less gpu bound. However, with a 30 fps cap the cpu might already be doing everything it can even at higher resolutions, just depends on if the gpu is bottle-necking at all.
well technically we could have just stuck with super nintendo and still played games, but its not about what is necessary but what people actually want.
Thats not how this works, but it at least proves its possible.
I suspect many people will try it and then just cancel, the only good news is that its going to be super hard to get people to forget how bad it was.
the video quality, lag, and sometimes stuttering, but if you cant notice it then its probably fine for you.
I really dont think they can fix it at all with todays technology, streaming is horrible. It would make more sense to access the game files from the cloud and process them on local hardware, that would be more like how netflix works. For this to work local hardware would cache the files it needs before it needs them, just like streaming video but made much more complicated since games are interactive.
Even at the best of times, streaming isnt nearly as good an experience as local hardware. I thought this was obvious? I really dont think its worth saving a few hundred dollars up front to be stuck with such an inferior experience that will cost you more in the long run. As something in addition to traditional methods, maybe but as replacement... heck no.
I wish they would just stop with this streaming nonsense, I picture suits who dont know how gaming works pushing for it.
that will show them!
