man, for a giant corporation that sells game boxes they're doing a s**y job, maybe Gamestop is riding the Sony's-a-failure-and-doome d train.
it makes less and less sense to do shopping in such stores when amazon has everything one click away and it's always in stock
Vita version doing good, maybe the positive opinions about this game from ACTUAL GAMERS in comments/forums/amazon.com will give the game perpetuate sales

So including God of War Ascension, a PlayStation fan can name 5+ high profile must-play games that are still long time away for the PS3, after he/she is through with the overwhelming selection of games this season
Sony didn't need to start the ad campaign early, they need the games lineup first (AC3-L, NFS-MW, COD-BOU) and then it makes sense to start 2 weeks before black friday in NA and into the holidays in Europe,
you have to have the games and bundles out first for present shoppers
or they are just too busy with the game and day-1 patch to run around gloating about it like Liberation people did and then release it full of game-breaking bugs and no day-1

the game is definitely getting mixed reviews, there are 8s and 9s as well as 4s and 5s, it's most likely because of the quirky Asian genre not everyone appreciates...

a patch is needed very badly, AC3 got one, come one Ubisoft, fix the Vita game!

man, EA's gonna fail HAAARD this season, last time they had battlefield 3 and mass effect 3, now they ended up with this turd and Most Wanted which no matter how awesome, won't sell because it's a racing game and nobody cares about them anymore and then there's dead space 3 which is going to be mediocre and fail, i'm calling another $400M loss this holiday quarter
over $115 savings? these games don't cost $115 so it's either FAKE or includes the $50 price cut

sure, but the masses aren't as reasonable as you, and nor are the biased media that will bash and loom-gloom the system just like they did with PS3 and do with the Vita; the system needs to be $400 just like the 360 launched, coz' anything that is not like the 360/720 will be overlooked or deemed a failure in the US-centric media and the hardcore early adopter will remember how the ps3 turned out in technical terms - not exactly $600 worthy compared to a $400...
let's hope so, it will be a big test for the industry - does anything matter anymore to gamers as much as CoD does
