Smart tvs do have online functions, but do not require it to function as a tv. If the tv loses connection, it keeps on showing what ever you were watching.
Bioware will never do a triple xp or triple credits event. They were asked time and time again to do this for ME3 MP and they simply won't do it, messes with their micro transactions. They just quit on ME3 after a dlc was released 3 weeks ago, I'm salty at Bioware/EA for this.
Maybe they don't release the facts to avoid the back lash. People of n4g have been following this, but n4g is a very small percentage of gamers. If Microsoft says something, it goes mainstream in seconds. Them staying quiet is very troubling as good news is always delivered quickly.
If they say the games are a service, then they do have the right to shut down the game on your console. Do you really think you own anything you download through live or psn?
Origin as an online service sucks. Words cannot describe how terrible it is.
My 64 bit widows will not install games from 1999 because they have an old installer. I really want Dune 2000 on my pc again and I can't figure out how to get it to work.
I completly agree maniacmayhem. The mighty dollar is the boss of everyone. I have hardly bought any ps1 or ps2 classics off the store, I still own all my games from those generations. I do still have my ps1 and ps2 as well, but I have been spoiled by wireless controllers.
I really don't understand why no backwards compatibility with ps1 or ps2 games for the ps4. I can undertsand why there will be no B/C for the ps3 games becuase it uses the cell. But, there really is no excuse for them not to have ps1 or ps2 b/c. I want all my final fantasy games on one console (besides the mess of 13).
PCs can emulate the ps1. So if the PS4 is using the same architecture as pcs, why can't they emulate it as well?Pay the guys that made the emulators and give them a dev kit. I bet they can get emulators working for the ps1 and ps2.
The reason you have so many cable channels is because the networks own multiple stations. The cable company has to pay for them all just to get a few good stations. When you see a dispute over a cable company and a network, say Viacom, They threaten to take away MTV, Nickaloden and so on. It is not the cable companies fault you have so many channels, its the networks. I've worked in a cable head end for years.
You must be out of your god damn mind. Bubble for the avatar.
60 fps is not hard to hit on a mid range pc, but everyone thinks it takes thousands of dollars to achieve 60 FPS. I love that I have a choice of chat clients to use, mods, graphics far ahead of consoles, and the ability to re assign keys in almost every game. I was a die hard sony fan, but my pc gets all my attention right now. My ps3s (all 3 of them) are used for netflix, amazon and streaming media from my NAS. I am very excited for the ps4 and what it will bring to the table, but its featur...
I love how battlefield 3 will let you use a KB and mouse for ground combat and a controller for flying.
Never had a problem, but never played it till 5 months after release. I have the plat also.
I have 3 also and its a pain if I want to play a game in the basement if the wife is using the tv in the living room. The only 2 systems activated at one time sucks.
Its profit with very little overhead. What other games does activision make that brings in the money like COD.
I wired my house with cat 6 ethernet cable, I refuse to use wifi for online gamming, I only use it on my laptop. I checked the forums and seen that a lot of people were experiencing the same thing. The house next door has a unsecured network and I can get about 65% signal strength on my living room ps3 (I own 3). I played using her connection and I destroyed the other team.
Cod 4 on PC has dedicated servers.
Look at what they did to Ace Combat.
The cheering was from Power of green and The Mart.
