I admit, I'm not a big racing game fan. Mario Kart is about as far as I go when it comes to racing games. I do remember I had some friends that played GT avidly on PS and PS2.
From what I remember, its about control and balance, you're not trying to ram a car off the road and overtake by sheer speed alone. I'm not saying 'slow and steady' but being aggressive was never the way to be in GT.

9.5 is a great score for a game. Doesn't matter what R2 got or what Halo ODST is going to get, or that GTAIV got a 10, Uncharted 2 was hopefully reviewed as its own game with the only comparison to the first game.
Fanyboys and people that need to feel they 'won' something over their 360 counterparts, you can sleep soundly with the score. Gamers, we have another great game to play.
Its fun simple gameplay anyone can pick up and play.
Sure, no real skill is needed but its an absolute blast with a group of friends.
And if you don't have any gamer friends (like me:() you can go online and just mute everyone and still have a blast.
Awesome game. I bought the game on saturday, had it completed it Sunday simply because I couldn't put it down and went without sleep! Went in work tired and moody from lack of sleep but goddamn it was worth it.
Time to find all the riddles, trophies and play through on hard. And you know what? I'll relish every second of it!

I barely touched Uncharted when I first got my PS3 back in '07. But I started playing and thought "wow, this is awesome". The story is quite lengthy and really interesting and when Naughty Dog patched in Trophies it made people boot up the game again.

Hey, if its anything like the original it will warrant many play throughs. Hell, Uncharted is the only game I have platinum for and I loved every minute of it.
Uncharted 2 will hopefully have that same, fun gameplay that just begs to be replayed. I dunno about the multiplayer, you could be right that its just tacked on but I'll make that judgement when the multiplayer demo is released.
Atleast wait until its out before making such 'hands down' statements.
Oh my god. I remember reading the rumors on this and thought "Man that would be awesome" Not only they go and do it, put the games in HD at 60FPS and add trophies. That is simply awesome.

While I thoroughly enjoy most online multiplayers (Killzone 2, MGO, Gears) CoD just gets it right in my opinion.
I'm not talking about graphics here, which do look pretty nice, but the gameplay looks, in a word, fun. Now, don't get wrong, I love other multiplayers, but CoD online is just so good. The gameplay is fast and fun, backed nicely with a fluent control system. Its simple gameplay everyone can enjoy.
I see some of these as pretty normal. For years I played on a PAL TV before I finally bought my HD.
Some are abit dire though.
Every PS3 being able to play PS2 games would be a dream come true. If or when this is implemented and they add PS2 games to the PSN, Sony will once again be rolling in the monies.
Also, they should add trophies to PS2 games lol.

Why? In my opinion, the multiplayer is the weakest element of the Gears games and if I do play online its Horde mode in Gears 2.
