Though I agree with MC about mentioning it, DF should not have sensationalized it without further testing. Seems it was indeed a random bug in the code..just look at all the videos out there disproving it. They made it seem like it went to 0 FPS because the system couldn't handle it...sites wents viral with it. Then in comes NX in the exact same scenerio and nada. Then here comes DF to kinda say, yeah, we messed up..Yes they both suffer from frame rate and stutter....it was damage contro...

Wow, approved in seconds I see to put the game down. Its not a 5.5 out of 10. Its an 8+ scoring game. 343 should be commended on what they achieved. I never liked multiplayer in Halo series and this game has made me like it. The single player is fun, but the multiplayer is a blast. I have not laughed and had so much fun playing a game since MW. I get creamed in some multiplayer games, but I have fun. That is what is missing in the newer games today..fun factor.
WoW, I counted 2-3 times the frame rate went 24FPS the entire time John was reviewing for barely more than a few frames...and I wouldn't have noticed had the counter had not been there...he seemed to be reaching to find issues. The rest of the game was quite steady. Seems he is more or less looking for issues that pop up to put the game down. Yes, its their job to show this type of stuff, but, imo he was reaching because they are still stinging about the Fallout..fallout that exposed ran...
Kinda like a modern Gradius. Wonder what it will cost? Last one was $20.00.
Does it matter to Sony? My short answer is No. They have their pay service and that is the direction they have taken. I wont buy their sub myself to play games I already own. Does it matter to me? Yes, I have a huge collection of games and love the option of just popping the disc in or just clicking on the icon in the dash.

Wow, "Major issues"? When they say they are scheduling the roll out, you dont get it right away. It may take a little bit. I'm more inclined to think that the "problem" lies between the keyboard and the back of the chair.
There are multiple videos out there of actual gameplay trying to replicate the DF analysis..and guess what it has not dropped to zero. So do you think the DF findings could be a random bug in the code? It could have been.

My take is he was calling BC rubbish, not the games offered. By the next update, I am sure plenty of them will work and some wont, but guess what, I love having the option of popping in an older game from the 360 era.
Well, calling it rubbish is a little harsh since it was the MOST requested feature. You are in the minority then. I will be enjoying it as I still play the 360 quite frequently and have over 300 games for the system sitting on the shelf. I popped CoD 2 and MW in the other day, because in my opinion they are the best in the series
Maybe at the end..just before its over, they will flash the NX on on the screen...ever so quickly..1/2 a second...and not offer any details...let people get hyped etc....and then hold off any info till E3 2016
Exactly, its a great feature to have. It was the #1 requested feature. They listened and here we are. The X1 now has backwards compatibility with the 360. Considering its just launching for the general public, its not too shabby with whats works. People need to remember that MS said its up to the publisher to have it work with BC. They will just keep adding title after title...I'm hoping for CoD2, World at War and MW.

I tried to duplicate what DF did and I cant. It never froze or dropped frames to zero for me. I think they need to re do their test. I have also watched several other people test and had the same results as me. It may be something unique to their test.
It could also be random performance issues too..I dont know.

I agree that is really a great deal.
yet another attempt to derail any kind of positive news about this game on the X1. What if the cut scenes had 4k textures? Would that make it a better game...last time I checked you cant play cut scenes.
I'll be in seeing it without a doubt.
It also says something when it was the most requested feature. MS listened and guess what..we have BC and for that I am quite happy. My backlog of 360 games over 10 years is huge. I will be able to remove my 360 in the coming months and make room for new toys.
