Lets all be honest, did you all expect it not to win? With the marketing deals and packages that were offered it was a no brainer really. XBox did quite well too, they sold a ton of units, Sony came out on top basically to what I have stated. Star Wars in itself could sell ice to Eskimos if it was somehow related.
I think I will withhold judgement until actual DX12 games are released. No sense in trying to have developers (armchair ones included) say its going to be great if there is nothing to back it up.
Cloud compute in crackdown 3 was awesome. We all saw the trailer. When I see a DX12 game in action, then we can all see for ourselves.
I completely disagree on 2 of the titles and they are: The Order and Gears. I liked both of them very much so.
I'm quite happy with the comment. I'm not convinced it going to be main stream and not a gimmick.
and yea J Allard is gone from MS btw. He left last may I think. He is off road racing and enjoying life.
Your first sentence says it all. I agree. If its 400 or more which is about what it seems its going to be..only the must haves will buy it.
Its going to need a killer, eye candy must have game included at launch. Judging by the PS experience demo, they damaged themselves quite a bit.
Denying the fact that the stage demo was horrible is beyond belief. I'll reserve judgement for when I can demo it live for myself....cause that demo was just plain bad
I sure hope so...that demo, really was, to put it mildly..horrible
I was doing the exact same thing. I was laughing at the guys doing the review. I'm floored at people actually defending this. Golem was the best looking one and it was so damn short.
that explains the elongated head in this one then. Thanks for the heads up
I finally watched the VR part of the conference and I confess myself disappointed. I would not pay for this at all. I watched intently and thought are you kidding me!!If it improves drastically by Christmas 2016, I may consider picking it up, but as it stands now. No way..not a chance.
It may be fantastic while wearing the device and it was just shown poorly on screen..I'm hoping this was the issue.
Really only slightly better and it may be due to the 16:9 vs 4:3 ratio?? Does this display the original aspect ratio on screen or it is enhanced for widescreen?
I bought quite a few games that have just been released for both consoles on Amazon for that price. Seems like some people are reaching for the sole purpose of trolling the game and I dont understand why.
So its like buying a game at the store? I am on active duty this weekend so I don't know the all details of the conference. I just asked a question, no need for a tirade.
Didn't this exact story get unapproved before?
So let me get this straight, they want to charge me for my old PS2 games? Nah..pass, I'll just keep the PS2 hooked up in the other room.
Please correct me if I am wrong, We have to pay to play?
Well isn't that a nice surprise :D
The more I see of this game, the more I am happy they are still working on fine tuning and such and have a sound release date next year. I dont want a steaming pile of crap game or rush release with tons of future patches like this gen has been riddled with.
I've got a feeling its the Wii U handheld screen with a more powerful processor on par with a laptop style CPU/GPU that will have a docking station for your TV.
Many people have said as well as I, you need 3rd party support or it will F L O P and be right there with the Shield and its never mentioned cousins that never made it main stream.
Standardize is the main thought I had also. If your want VR to become main stream, someone is going to come out on top as the standard..who it is right now..i dunno
Phil said himself that he sees another console coming. So yeah, here to stay.
So many great established franchises, new IP's and ones that have not been announced yet. I myself, am looking forward to the future of XBox.
