Sorry dude but you're wrong, fighting games are one of the few genres where graphics can really shine due to only needing to display the fighters and their environments (Tekken 6 excels at the former). There aren't AI routines for 20 other enemies onscreen to deal with, no massive levels to stream in and other things that other genres have.

Yeah they do, that's why you import your own samples (in wav format) and make your own drum loops. That's what I did and it makes a world of difference, they should have made that well known to everyone.
For this price Beaterator is a STEAL, it's not even a game it's a portable music production studio. I had no idea how deep and comprehensive it actually was until playing with it but I am damn impressed with what I'm able to do.

Yeah I'm level 26 right now, there's going to be some fun times ahead of this one due to the massive damn amounts of loot and the co-op. I've yet to come across an orange named item though (ultra rare).

You don't stop them from using the Cross Voice/Party Chat for that, but those are the breaks and you adapt accordingly. It's something that you deal with if it happens since if you're on your game then any ambush they could plan with a voice chat wouldn't even matter anyway. I play on PC all the time and you can be on Teamspeak, Vent, Skype, whatever and it won't matter because if you're good you're going to get them anyway.
If you don't see it being used much, you've probably never used it on Live. It's an invaluable feature man and one that's sorely missed when one moves between systems constantly. Party Chat especially since I have a lot of family and friends who play when I do and so we all join a party and talk sh*t while playing games. It's a social thing, one that Sony definitely needs (as Home isn't cutting it).

Good read and I wholeheartedly agree. I think that if a game is getting a perfect score, then I shouldn't be able to play the game and find anything at fault with it. Poor AI? Not a perfect score. Glitches? No 100 for you. Undercooked story? Try again. For me to deem a game worthy of a 10 means that it is the absolutely PINNACLE of its genre at that time in the generation and the thought of "this game would be better if. .." never enters my mind.

Hah dude, "The DSi approach" is exactly what the PSP has been doing all along. All GO did was just take away the UMD drive making it digital only instead of both like 1000-3000. It has a few nice features like BT tethering for portable network/remote play, but that price for it is stupid with the small amount of internal storage the thing has. If it were 32gb at the same price point then it'd be far more palatable, especially since you have to buy new (more expensive) memory sticks....

Q's a Japanese dev though, also they're a bit more than "just" a game dev since they designed the XMB and the visualizations.
