but we didn't have any information the 360 this time last year, just like this year. The only thing 360 owners need to face is the same thing ps3 owners need to face good games will be coming out for all consoles and no matter how much you don't like it the so called competition is not going anywhere.
I don't know what they'll show, but the simple fact is this. the 360 is the only console MSFT has so to have a seperate keynote specific to gaming the gaming console shows that the 360 is far from a so called footnote. I'm not saying they'll announce any megatons or anything like that, but the 360 will be a centerpiece of at least 1 of their presentations.

your response obviously comes from someone who has seen achievements from a friends 360. the 360 gives you a gamerscore as a over summary, but you can dwell deeper into them and see how many a person has for said game and how many points each one has.
the same way the trophy system has the level rank, but you can dwell deeper into it and see how many bronze, silver, etc,. trophies a person has i.e it's the same thing one uses a number the other uses a level.

You have people who get trophies/achievements just on a regular play through
and you have people who wanna get all achievements and people who want to get the platinum trophy for each game played. On most multiplat games the trophies/achievement are the same are they not?

true. just like every other company. psn and xbl are viable revenue streams now. especially after the cash capcom racked in off SF2HD remix. every other company with a backlog portfolio want a piece of that pie.

i can forsee this and many others coming to xbla and psn. sega is looking at capcom capitalize on psn and xbla and they want a piece of the pie. In this economic time they need to find other ways to generate revenue. what better to do that than with remakes??? small dev teams only need to convert code for xbla and psn, all while adding polish to the games and a quick cert from msft and sony and they got a game out their many oldschool gamers would love to relive via xbl or psn and it cost...

No console is going anywhere. All 3 consoles have enough market share and all 3 are gaining enough revenue to remain relevant well into the next generation.
We are going into 3 and 4 years into each consoles life cycle respectively and we as gamers are still going on about these so called wars. At least the 360 and ps3 loyalist are anyway.

the ps2 library is probably the most robust I've ever experienced and I've had a ps2 since launch and I probably haven't tapped 20% of the library. Unlike most gamers who jump from game to game every month I try to get the most out of my games and consoles. Only a fool would overlook the ps2.
