Google killzone network error code:8013. I know it's not my connection for the simple reason when I pull up the xmb after getting kicked from the kz2 servers I still show as connected to PSN. Hopefully this upcoming patch will fix that.
is hindering me right now. network error code:8013 when playing kz2. hopefully as they beef up the servers it'll get better for me, but nothing more worse than racking up points only to have them drop after losing your connection :/
give the rich black people free stuff and poor black people will buy it to be like the rich black ball players and rappers. MSFT does the same thing that's why they (MSFT) endorse snoop doggs gaming league. Sony did it with the ps2. I said it before this generation even started; sony would struggle in the states because they priced the ps3 out of one their biggest markets in the states....average black people.

while I do believe the 360 is the spiritual successor of the DC it's not gonna die like it for obvious reason.
people need to stop looking at comparisions with the DC as a bad thing, especially when bloogers, journalist, or whatever their called these days only look at the positives.

I just read that article and the auther clearly is a dreamcast fan after it's downfall. the xbox and dc have more in common than the dc and 360. Personally for me; but that's a good thing.
I loved the Dreamcast. probably why I don't complain about paying for xbl, since I paid for SegaNet.
The only thing that can make the ps3 the new dreamcast is if they get shenmue III.

now ghoul granted I'm going off my experience with each game and that was around launch for each game. mgo was not as bad, but warhawk was a mess. even when I picked up a used copy after a few months to check it out with my friends before my ps3 crapped out on me I still had a few lag session, but nothing and I mean nothing was bad as Socom, the best thing to come from that game was my official bluetooth headset.
the same people who never played the 1st game and probably won't play the 2nd. the same people who seem to think if one game is bad the next game will be bad especially when it's own the competitions console. the same people who like these features for kz2, but bash similar features for halo 3.
so I guess the easy to sum this up would be to say console loyalist.
I wouldn't put warhawk, or mgo in that running, both those games crashed psn for many a gamer me included. I won't disagree with you however. I think we as gamers can have real discussion witout press those damn agree/disagree buttons.
I may have to get my new ps3 sooner than expected. I was waiting to see what they would do with the online, but with Teddy Price and the boys helping with server support they should be fine.

here are my initial impressions.
the first game I enjoyed the gameplay hated the story. they seem to be focusing on a more in depth story this time based on the Q&A I watched over at gamersyde. they also have overhauled the environments with jungles and the like which look very impressive imo. all in all I think this is a game that gamers (since we all know or assume it's multiplat) can enjoy.
It's really nothing to brag about, and it's nothing to bash either. I think to attack or defend a game is really the highlight of a lot your lives here. Oh we'll whatever makes you happy I suppose. I'm to busy coming here to catch up on actual gaming news and living a real life to really care....

the ps3 started off slow but it's finding it's place now. This so called saving is nothing more than ps3 loyalist wanting the ps3 to release a game that's gonna cause the 360 loyalist to lay down their so called "arms" and join the ps3 ranks. I don't care if the games multiplat or not, but I look at it like this. even after the 1st game was released bioware and ea said a plan was already in the works to make the game pc/360 only. I'm loving it. the game is very team fortress like in many ways, but they took out the destructible enviroments :(, other than that the game way is very fun and surprisingly very addictive. I've been alternating between bf heroes and L4D since last sunday
that's 9k more than what I woulda thought they sold.

I guess when psn crashed during warhawks launch, mgo's launch, lbp's launch, socom's launch, and continues to have problems online during every major game launch see killzone 2's recent 8013 error (a error I still get regularly) don't count huh?
Face facts. psn is good, but it's not the indestructible service youre trying to make it out to be.
