having the mentality and having the money are two different things. Bioware has the funding of EA to back them. Valve is a independent dev EA only publishes their games they don't own, fund, or assist valve with game development.

doubt they canceled the pc version. the pc community was looking forward to this game just as much as the 360 faithful. I know I was. I think it'll be a timed 360 exclusive ala mass effect. If MSFT has canceled the pc version they'll alientate more gamers than they think they'll garner by getting them to get the more expensive and less featured (tech wise) 360 version. I for one won't purchase the game for my 360, when I got a quad core and a 9800gt more than ready to handle the game

On topic I'd love to see this game go cross plat. I want to play it on the pc but I got a few friends who only have a ps3 and no gaming rig it would be great for me to play on the pc and still game with friends. If not I'll be picking up the ps3 version so it's all good either way.

out of curiosity do you have a gaming rig now? I don't know of too many pc gamers who don't salvage at least their hard drive and dvd drive from a current rig, or a a keyboard and mouse. If so seems to me your throwing money away. I recently upgraded because I still had a 939 socket mobo using a dual core opty 180 cpu which was still using ddr ram. It still ran most games at medium settings I might add. Bardler and Montrealien will know just how old my rig was.....

I was really looking forward to the game and some months back when I went to the website to see the message "site is under construction" and I became a little skeptical; that message has been there for a good while.
