Emman, I could not have said it better myself.
The devs made it the way they want. End of story. If someone doesn't like it they can make their own game and get over it.
So far, from all of the feedback from those who have tried the Hololens, the majority of them claim it is living up to the hype.
At that point if an item is a significant piece of hardware that performs as it is intended and more so than it's current competition the price is justified.
TL;DR- It makes no sense to call a Porsche a gimmick just because it cost more than a Pinto.
'Bell's Law' supports this possibility, despite the short-sighted replys who obviously have no idea about the theorem.
EDIT: Apparently N4G needs to fix their title description for this story because it is wrong.
The amount of cheesing and exploits used by the majority of players in Destiny is one of the main reasons I stopped playing that game.
Exploiting a game does not show skill, it shows laziness to learn to play the game the way it was designed and as a result it is disrespectful to the devs who made the game as well.
Yay, more re-hashed content on the same planets, using the same maps just with different textures and re-skinned guns. /sarcasm
I didn't buy the last DLC, and doubt I would ever waste any further money on Destiny due to how broken the background story missions are and lack of actual content.
It's not often I agree with such a majority of the comments on this site. However, I believe many have hit it on the head when it comes to propaganda BS like the kind in the article in question.
I am not sure why some people like this guy keep trying to claim this point when no one has proven it to be true yet, lol.
Wow, that is some amazing and convincing points you suggest. Oh wait, you didn't say anything other than the troll comment.
I am still loving this game despite its flaws. No game is perfect and certainly never had it all one day one either. I am looking forward to future content in the game.
I enjoy Destiny the way it is in not catering to the 'instant gratification' whiners who don't have the patience to put time into a game.
Why should SWTOR be transitioned to consoles? Because SWTOR is so horrible that BW obviously can't maintain supporting their servers most likely on PC gamers alone is why.
The topic of whining about sexism in video games is just as redundant today as it ever was. Male characters get exploited just as much as females. Some people need to grow a spine and get over it.
I so sick of petitions and whiners trying to force developers into changing their characters and stories to satisfy their agendas. Better believe they would flip out if someone wanted a white John Henry movie/game.
Nintendo had the weakest conference ever this E3.
NewZealander obviously doesn't have a clue about game design if he thinks a hacking feature can be simply "tacked on" to any game. I see a lot of backseat whiners posting about a game they couldn't design themselves.
Probably start seeing them whine next that they deserve the end scene to be changed like what happened to 'Mass Effect'.
The game looks fine to me and am enjoying it better than any GTA version.
Naive bandwagon morons like Yi-long is exactly why the homosexual agenda gets so much traction these days. Tolerance does not equal enlightenment in this case, because being tolerant to a fictional gender that is based solely on a mental perspective that is not scientifically little different than a pedophile is ludicrous. 'Far Cry' only gave me one more reason to not buy any future editions of their IPs.
I love how these console fanboy sites eat up any kind of mmo drama to try to take cheap shots. I enjoy ESO and would gladly pay a sub for a quality game over some lame F2P game.
I never could understand how some gamers could not comprehend that Peter Dinklage's voice was for an unemotional robot, so of course he would sound monotone and rightly so.
Bungie would have been better off fixing a lot of other problems with Destiny instead of worrying about a minority of clueless whiners obsessing over one character. It only reminds me why I don't play Destiny anymore.
