See, it gets tricky here, i'm not buying this game, i bought it and completed it last year and it still didn't wow me because i knew that it was a next gen game kept back so they could make another one to sell it a few months later.
If this is a PS4 exclusve release date that is clever but it's easily as underhanded as something any other company like EA or Microsoft would do.
But one thing i am certain of is the sh*tstorm that this story WON'...

They should have called it 1080p and no one would have batted an eyelid. Maybe about 6 months after when a really normal person with a life analyses each pixel of gameplay footage until he counts the 900"Ps"
To be honest, i can't believe this has gone on for longer than a day. It saddens me.

It's because nerds argue about consoles, someone finds it annoying, tells nerds that a team has done something so the console arguments could stop for at least one game and the nerds start the argument with him.

The didn't make it 900p for console parity, the "debates" that were previously mentioned were not regarding consoles. They made it 900p so they didn't have to downgrade it like they did Watch_Dogs.
Video games are art, devs help make art. A dev purposely ruining his art would be like Michelangelo taking a sledgehammer to the roof of the Sistine Chapel.

This is a good thing though, this way everyone gets equal share, no arguing unless you're a horrible person that just likes arguing and there's no hard choice if you have both consoles, friends over graphics.
The textures of the game and the lighting already make it look amazing, 900p is enough. If it isn't people have some serious problems of the 1%
