no one really has an excuse. If your cell phone is capable you probably have a couple headsets lying around the house. Playing Uncharted 2 there always seems to be 3-5 people in the game that have headsets. There are enough people using which will prompt others to join up if they want.
I use mine sparingly. When I play player matches with PSN friends. I avoid using it all the time due to having the wife and kids running around the house and no easy way of muting.
the "I'm not racist I am just right about blacks" argument.
because all other FPS don't require skills. Everything is automated and the game aims and moves around for you. *sigh*...
It stupid the attitude that people present when someone complains about the controls on KZ2. They get so defensive as if someone was attacking their newborn child. It must be a conspiracy by xbox fanboys or COD lovers out to down KZ2. Can't possibly be that a lot of people found them to be tedious.
You will never find another game that got so many complaints about the controls. It was a real issue. Just because someone does not agree with you does not make them COD players. Las...
I was excited for the game but the controls were just tedious even if the weighted feeling was intentional. Played through the campaign but I always felt I was fighting with my controls. Multiplayer wasn't bad the core mechanics of the controls still bugged me. There is a reason there were so many complaints. It wasn't a made up issue. Yea KZ2 fans adjusted but it also turned off a lot of people.
Regardless it wouldn't have sold as much as an established franchise like Halo. If...
We grew up playing single player games, then moved to 2-4 player games with friends at the house, then came the internet and online gaming on the PC, then followed by consoles jumping on board with the online action.
After playing online games on the PC for so long the console interface is so tedious. On PC you have applications like x-fire that will show you what games and servers your friends are in and allow you to join. Keyboard right infront of you for easy chat and text com...
needs to be on the disc so others can see the costumes. You pay to unlock just like the console.
much better than the sure to bomb LBP and Wall-E one.
I thought it reminded me of MGS4 and how the game made you feel like you were part of a movie. Character development, cinematic and the works. I think that will be a plus.
yes the price will go down eventually. How many analysts/hacks are going to write articles about it when they don't have any idea when?
if its an FPS that also comes out on the PC i'm buying it on the PC.
the knock on the game was that it was short and repetitive. Those enthralled by the game defended the full game price tag. They announce L4D2 and the same people are complaining.
I bought the game when it was $20 which is about what a no plot shoot a million zombies game is worth. If you paid what you thought the original was worth then you shouldn't be salty about the sequel.
I don't see how anyone can look at those screens and think Uncharted 2 looks better. Especially with those ridiculously high res textures and AA in those screens.

common now..
this game will make the June 9th date. The hype machine on its direct competition inFamous is crazy right now. Demo available, reviews coming out. You'd think they would be doing more pub for the game.
Its strangely quiet on the prototype front.
I thought I was the only one. The trailers have looked dull. They talk about being good or evil to the population in the city but you can tell it has no real impact on the game. This game is going to get hammered come review time.
is that the changes are slight. While still not as responsive as most shooters it is improved. Now the clowns that had convinced themselves that crap controls were a feature are crying that its COD when it has barely changed.
when did console fps games become "twitchy"? You ppl make me feel old...
probably cause I am.
Realism is a terrible excuse because its not consistent with the game. If it really was realism they would have different "weighty" controls for the different weapons. If they had made the game have tighter aiming controls none of the KZ2 apologists would have had any complaints. All that is great about is still there.
I've been an FPS guy for the longest time all on PC. As all the big games and community start to move towards consoles I had to suck it up and accept the...
Screen tearing is a function of having a framerate that is higher than the refresh rate of your TV/monitor. V-sync limits the framerate to match the monitor and will eliminate tearing in every game. KZ2 is capped at 30 fps for that reason.
God of War experience was Chains of Olympus on my brother's PSP for 20 mins. Went on youtube and watched some in-game cut scenes to get a feel for what the hype was all about and to understand the trailer for GOW3.
I am really looking forward to this collection as its all new to me.
