Looks painfully low poly with lots of shiny bump mapping. It was amazing for its time but lets not get carried away.

June 7th Sony. If its not back up in time for SSF4: AE DLC we are breaking up. Get it together.

I'm almost at the point of picking up a 4gb slim from Best Buy. It just feels funny already having two ps3s and having to re-purchase a couple games. Bothering to dual mod the fight stick is a pain too.

Its almost been a month yet to try MK9 online.

My buddy that I play SSF4 with for the past couple of years sent me an MMS yesterday with his new xbox360. This from a guy who couldn't stand the idea of paying to play on xbox live.

Bought a used xbox360, used copy of SSF4 and a fightstick. I couldn't stop laughing. The guy couldn't handle the two weeks of training mode. $310 bucks to cure the online jones.

Sony needs to hurry up. This is getting silly.

Totally with you minus the BlazBlue. BB didn't revive anything. Its all SF4 and MVC3.

Having said that MK9 looks like fun.

The quality of games the public expects is very expensive to produce. As a result publishers are going for the safest bet. If small indie titles could be released and sell millions you would have a lot more innovation. However most of the consumers and gaming media will bash it for not being as polished as the last $50 million costing AAA title.

Awesome read. I really felt Tribes: Vengeance had potential but it felt rushed and they cut support not long after release. I thought the combat aspect was awesome but reading that confirms the suspicion of the lack of support from Vivendi.

Tribes:Ascend is doomed unfortunately. Unless they do something crazy like make a console game with the intention of it being played with mouse and keyboard there is no hope.

Max Payne was awesome. Love the theme music. Such a great game.

The EagleEye for the PS3 works very well with Crysis 2. These peripherals tend to work best with games that originated with mouse/kb setups as primary input devices.

I hope that means there is a no gore option.

I'm a retard. Soon as I posted this I thought "what if I set the dead zones to 0% wouldn't that mimic my idea of mouse like input?"

Setting the dead zones to 0% as well as sensitivity to 0% actually works pretty well. I likes...

I actually wish they would have left the option of using the move as a mouse and pressing the move button to mimic picking up the mouse to reset position. Or maybe the reverse when you hold down the move button to keep the cursor locked in the middle of the screen.

The current system is not bad. Best implementation so far but the other option would have been nice and more logical for mouse/keyboard users.

Well they have put in a lot more work into integrating the action with the cut scenes/story so thats a good sign. That plus the Move integration should make the single player a chunk better this time around.

The controls were bad. Stop being a tool because someone mentioned a legitimate complaint about the game.

Its not like an army of trolls called a meeting and decided to make up a false complaint and spread it all over the web. Many people complained because it felt laggy and unresponsive. Even the developers have admitted to it and made changes for Killzone 3.

"We've recalibrated the dead zone to be more responsive and significantly reduced the input...

Even with a driving wheel not being able to feel the weight of the car shift as you are taking turns and feeling how the tires hold up on the road it will never be as real as the real thing. I still feel it can be a bit floaty sometimes with strange spin out even at low speeds at times.

Its the closest to real I have played but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

I think full on damage would be a good option for multiplayer. Gives real consequences to pushing your vehicle too hard in an attempt to gain or keep the lead. Makes it more interesting.

Heh totally with you on the Driving Force wheel. Never was a big fan of racing sims but the wheel plus this game makes it so much fun. The feedback from the road, grip on the tires everything feels awesome with the Logitech DFGT. I wouldn't have looked at GT5 if not for seeing a video about the wheel and I'm glad I did.

The game does not deserve a perfect score cause its lacking in the online experience with subpar match making. Its quite behind the times in that rega...

He doesn't have the comedic delivery to pull off Nathan Drake. Chris Evans would have been a better choice. Not an amazing actor either but plays the light hearted hero role much better.
