You should never post a quote from Mark Rein when he is just making marketing points and advertising the game. I have played the UT3 demo, it looks good but Gears is a better "GAME". And that is what matters really.
Epic has basically took a crap on PC gamers and moved to consoles. The games aren't made for PC's anymore. In all honesty thats fine. I was never an Epic fan. So best of luck.
I just wish people would stop giving this douchebag so much time ...
When the guy had problems he searched the internet. He 'bounced' back and for between "Live Search" and "Google". Live search is MS's search. These guys are such shills I can't even handle listening to it. Just because MS pays you doesn't mean they get your SOUL!
Co-op with Free Silver Live account confirmed.

Do you have a link? I have seen some reviews/previews talking around this issue. I would like to settle it once and for all. It's pretty much the make or break for me.
You can sit back on your couch and play wirelessly? So can I

But it is your opinion. And I do respect that. I disagree with that though.
PPS: The PC version has it when you fire it kicks your aiming reticle upwards.. like in real life. That sounds more realistic than the 360 version. GASP
PS: You can plug a 360 controller in on the PC and play it that way as well.
Wow. An argument FOR inferior controls. First time I have heard that. Tracking things in real life isn't that hard.
The 360 game is great the PC version will be the same. They made marginal changes to the PC version. I am sure it's the same game.
The reason stated as to why they couldn't bring it over to the 360 as DLC was because the Unreal Engine had been modified since the release of GoW on the 360. Now when GoW2 comes out then that may no longer hold true. So I think there is a good chance this comes the the 360. Maybe as a preorder bonus. They already created the content I assume they will leverage it on the console in some fashion.
Do not buy a 8800GTS right now!! Nvidia is launching an 8800GT model supposedly on Oct. 29th and for $250. The 8800GT gets performance in the same range as the 8800GTX ( a $500 card ). There haven't been any official reviews, but if the rumors and underground benchmarks are true, the 8800GT is the price/performance leader. So I would hold off buying a vid card until the 8800GT launch. Other prices are sure to come down.
Also the 8800GT uses less power due to it being 65nm core....
Exactly. It's harder to get a great score for an FPS on the PC, especially in the past, because the PC has tough competition. The 'author' states he doubts PC games get lower scores. But if you look at Gamespots rating system they explicitly say that they judge a game relative to other games on the platform and to a lesser degree in the genre.
From Gamespots review page:
"We Rate Games According to the Current Standards of Their Platforms and Genres

Worst article ever. Well close anyway. There are so many holes in this argument it's not even funny. Is this blog spam? Do not post a half ass thought through article.
With the amount of processing power that is required to do true RT it will not become 'real' in gaming for quite some time. Developers just don't have THAT much horsepower to spare. So you can throw out facts that the CELL can do weather simulation on a flies rear faster than any other CPU and that would have more meaning in the near future than this. If you think the PS3's CELL is going to do RT anytime soon then watch this.
If you look at the World In Conflict framerate numbers in SLI it's a little disturbing. The best cards are getting 20+ frames, though it is high resolutions. 20+ frames aren't really that impressive. Maybe when the next series of Nvidia cards come out we will get good DX10 support.
Uk, Canada, Australia.. please stop the complaining. These are all smaller markets.
Population, All estimates:
UK - 60 million
France - 60 million
Canada - 32 million
Australia - 20 million
Japan - 127 million
US - 300+ million
India - over 1 billion
China - over 1 billion
Imagine what kind of prices China and India could get if everything wasn't pirated there :).
The US market, population wise, is around 10 times the size of the Canadian market. Canada’s population is around 32 million and the US population is around 300 million. Unless you have an insanely high percentage of the population in Canada that plays videos games your answer could be right there. Aye?
So now we can move on to EVERYONE in EVERY COUNTRY complaining about how they are getting shafted in terms of prices.
No. What he is saying is if you own a high end PC, a lot of the 360 exclusives show up on the PC (Mass Effect, BioShock, Gears of War). So why buy a 360?
Microsoft makes more on WinXP and Vista sales then they make on the 360 hardware sales + Live (Don't even TRY to argue that point). So it's not like Microsoft is doing PC gamers a favor by releasing them on the PC.
Lets see how MS helps PC gamers:
1) bundling DX10 to Vista and not XP.
2) *Attempts...
Windows now supports the 360 controller, and the PC is getting games like Devil May Cry 4, Mass Effect, Lost Planet, Bioshock, and Gears of War.
I am not arguing that the PC has more exclusives. I am just saying that that gap is closing. And will continue to close. So the PC is becoming a very versatile platform for gaming.
And the whole 'PS3 is a better value' is relative to the individual situation. The PC can do a lot more things, and has real world benefits ...
What do you know.. another Nostradavis submitted piece from ripten.com... F-ing amazing. Stop junking up the PC gaming section with your blog spam.
