Absolutely loved playing this and SOTC with my son! It really made him into more than just a gamer kid that only plays kid-centric titles, to a gamer that looks for obscure games that might be off the radar a little bit! He was looking for a "Zone of the Enders 2" ps2 game for the longest, until the HD re-make was announced! ....proud papa! :)
Summer drought is giving me time to catch up and finish a lot of games before another Sony onslaught! Playing portal 2 for the first time as an example!
luvin it!
Unreal tournament 3-" Human flesh...... ......it's makin me HHUNGRYY!" loved that line!
The gaming world has moved on. ms's poor showings at previous e3's and now Gamescon has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that ms is focusing on timed dlc and kinect games from now on, so gamers that are looking for more content have moved on.
mm has thoroughly impressed me with their boundless creativity!
I absolutely love everything I have seen of this game so far! This and last guardian are my most anticipated titles to date!
Great good games for gaming guys!
@ nextgen^ concerning you negative viewpoint on gt5's ingame damage model where you say "the biggest flaw in gt5 is car damage, where the highest level drivers get the full car wrecked model... this should be in the beginning of the game."
If you have played gt5 you would know that it is a sim, and as such, if the damage was severe in the beginning of the game, it would piss alot of people off for the simple fact that in gt5 when you have to repair your prized vehicles...
The funny thing about gt5's "sounds" was as soon as I first played it, I thought that the sounds from the cars colliding was spot on! and then the internets were dissing the collision sounds, saying things like... "sounds like cardboard boxes hitting" etc... then the guys from " insidesimracing.tv " had their review and one of the first things they said was how polyphony got the collision sound perfect! Before you say "what do those guys know", go t...
Last guardian's delay is hurting my heart and brain!
well said! people talk about games being " cut and paste ", " not innovative ", etc... but dismiss this is beyond me! ....goes back to Killzone 3 online !....
i'm 46 and also appreciate that game for what it did for the genre. But I also have been on an ongoing search for the "next boundry pushing game ", thats why the Killzone series really has me hooked. I wont ever trade or sell these titles. They are the most immersive shooters i've ever experienced to date! Especially in 7.1 surround !
For me its Killzone 2. To me, its the epitome of a "hardcore" experience! Killzone 3 is a blast online too!
wow! looks absolutley fantastic! I also want to see more AR stuff!
I think people here forget that there are still alot of new ps3 adopters, and will be alot more after the holidays, and sony is keeping with thier projected "10 year+" plan, so releasing bundled collections with all dlc and remasterd visuals so people can catch up on these awesome games without having to buy 1-3 seperate discs plus dlc makes sense!
my platinums really do say something to other gamers, whereas achievement score are pretty generic unless it very high, IMHO.
I'd assume a significant portion of "N4G" posters here are dedicated to our "hobby" of "adult electronic entertainment" i.e "gaming" to have both consoles and services. I have both and get alot of enjoyment from the two in different degrees. especially since I started gaming on a Magnovox Odyssey in 1978! Back then if I bought a game that needed a patch.. tough luck! Online was unheard of! Seems to me gamers today are kindof spoiled and unappreciati...
because Killzone is so much better, imho. I cant stop playing Killzone, but cod gets old to me.
downloading dust514 beta now! Cant wait to see how the controls are! do we get only one loadout in the beta ?
