At least they are offering the 60fps option. For this they deserve praise. But yeah, get this one on PC for the real experience.
Rare replay was just a package of BC games. Many of which we already owned. I love Rare's games but there was no way I would buy it. Especially when Microsoft added all those games to BC.
that makes no sense.
I can't wait for next Tuesday. And even more so next Friday
Yeah, pretty disappointing. For a game that cost 60 dollars we should get more than a 4 or 5 days of game time. Especially when you consider the value we are getting from games like Monster Hunter and Destiny.
It's a shame the PC community didn't get to play Vault of Glass, King's Fall or Wrath of the Machine. Although I do love Eater of Worlds, but not in the same realm of VOG and Kings Fall. Hopefully the raid this fall is worthy.
Can't wait to play with this. Especially the new job system.
Quite the opposite. The Scalebound team apologized for not being able to deliver.
I think so too.. No holy grail like Halo 5 but customized versions one for fps and one for 4k.
True Forza also pulls it off, but racing games are a bit easier to optimize since they are sort of on rails.
Rare said this about Sea of Thieves too and can't even hit 30fps.. I will believe it when I see it. So far only Halo 5 has been able to pull that off on a AAA title. All praise the 343i performance gods.
He's crazy. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Crackdown 1... 2 was kind of awful. But yeah. He is crazy. And if they finally bring Halo to PC "at launch", man that will be amazing.
Let's be honest. Rare can't make a Perfect Dark game at this stage. I don't want them anywhere close to it. The combat mechanics in Sea of Thieves are terrible.
@Rainslacker: that is incorrect. They do get paid based on use. On songs it is based on plays, for TV Shows and Movies it is based on watches. They also pay to have it available but not in all cases. Depending on the game, song, movie etc some may solely get per play payments if they aren't well known.
Sandbox game? lmao
Meh, I would rather that studio work on Perfect Dark.
@Uptownsoul: You said "Square Enix gets nothing from Game Pass" which is total BS. Sorry. Maybe pay attention to your own argument. But yeah, unless MS makes it worthwhile financially I can't see it. Square will probably put it on GamePass a year after release like they have been doing with their other games.
@uptownsoul: you do not seem to get it. It does make sense for Square, they don't have their own service or enough games to get users to use it. The only way a subscription service works is if there are subscribers. For example Disney paid 60 billion in the deal involving Fox/Hulu "although just a majority share in Hulu, not all of it". Granted there were other things involved with Fox but still a lot of money. Disney wants a piece of that Netflix market and think they can compe...
@uptownsoul: That is incorrect. Disney bought Hulu, because they wanted their own Sub service so they get all the money. EA has their own service for the same reason, although their lack of games makes it a very hard sell. Square does not currently own a sub service or enough content to have one.
And?
