@Uken: I have never met a person who has bought anything from Eververse and I am in a pretty large clan. I doubt it makes much money. The content locked behind Eververse is meaningless cosmetics. Nobody cares about it.
Forsaken looks like a sequel with all that is being added. I am surprised it isn't more. Biggest raid they have ever made with the most bosses, 9 new supers, a new game mode, a new version of POE, an entire end game area that evolves over time and is fil...
Destiny has matchmaking across most activities. It is just raids and trials that do not have matchmaking. But there are legitimate reasons for this, as those activities require a certain trust and dedication in your team. Not only communication but also being available for an entire activity without bailing. I personally love helping new people through raids, but it takes a long time to explain everything, I cannot see a group of randoms sticking around long enough and every time someone leav...
I am enjoying it. Especially love the new ranking systems which give you something to grind for in PVP. And I love the nightfall modifier cards. They need to add those to everything in the game.
I am fine with it. Rockstar games are so huge, it always felt wrong that we pay the same for GTA or Red Dead as compared to God of War or other games that have much less content.
@midnight: yeah, I tend to get obsessed with games. Recently it was Monster Hunter. But you should have played Taken King, D1 got so much better after that release. The dreadnaught was so full of secrets. Vanilla Destiny I loved because of Vault of Glass, I got so obsessed with leading groups through raids. But Taken King really made the overall game so much fun. Most of my hours were in raiding though, we had a group of people in our clan who spent most nights teaching people raids and the m...
@dumahim: It isn't the same thing over and over. It was 5 raids, somewhere around 15 strikes. Over 50 story missions. Multiple PVP modes, multiple PVP maps.
But yeah you did grind that wealth of content for unique gear. It is a grinding game. And I have always loved grinding games. Diablo is my favorite game of all time.
If you are a focused self learner, I would just learn online on your own time. No college course will give you what you are looking for as efficiently as learning things on your own. And with almost all the popular engines offering free options there is no hurdle as far as costs of getting the tools you need. And if you are already making games that you can put on your resume you are probably ahead of most students coming straight out of college. It is really hard to justify colleges today wi...
Eververse covers silly events like Sparrow Racing and the Halloween Event. Not new raids and maps. Plus nobody buys from Eververse.
Meh, I had over 2000 hours in D1. Wish all games had that kind of value.
Seems reasonable based on the content. You get a major expansion plus 3 DLC content add ons.
I will be buying both Spiderman and Red Dead for sure. But Spiderman I don't expect to get more than a week or two of gameplay. Which is fine. But yeah, finding time for Red Dead and Forsaken will be hard. But I am definitely going to try. Both look amazing.
It looks very fun for how they are doing it though. Sending 1 guardian over to destroy a team after sending PVE bosses over too sounds pretty awesome. I was wrong saying it is like Warzone. It isn't at all. Very unique.
Very excited. New mode sounds like Warzone. Which would be amazing in the Destiny universe.
Skyrim is great, but Skyrim has the best modding system in gaming to keep things fresh. They also have had multiple content releases. Skyrim does not apply here.
I would think most game pass users would at least try it. Although I am over the zombie genre so I did not even bother.
Nobody is going to be playing a single player game without seasonal content more than a week or two.
And Perfect Dark Zero
Agreed, game still going strong after more than three years. Bring it to pc 343
This list is trash. Perfect Dark Zero and Nuts and Bolts are top of any legit list.
Why would we as gamers be mad about the annual pass? Much cheaper than subscription models. It's not like they are just going to keep making content and maintaining servers without some sort of compensation.
